This post had a convoluted way of getting here.  I was listening to like a month and half old podcast cause that stuff can stack up, I listen when I can but I listen to too many. Anyway, screenwriter Tess Morris was on and I thought she was quite funny and she was talking about writing this movie called Man Up.  It is a romantic comedy but she was funny enough I decided to give it a shot.  It also had Simon Pegg and Lake Bell, so it seemed like something to take a chance on.  I quite liked it.  I wouldn’t say it should be an Oscar nominee but as someone who is quick to deride Romcoms as a lazy genre that doesn’t really try to be good, just marketable, it stands out that I liked it.  Because it was interesting and well written.  And Simon Pegg was funny.  And Lake Bell was funny.  Lake Bell was also a fair bit more interesting than any character is in most romcoms.  She just felt more complex and fully realized.  Lake Bell being a talented comedic actress likely helps with that.  So here she is.  Because she is pretty and funny and I watched the movie so… today I want to fuck Lake Bell.

I didn’t really expect to post Lake Bell again so quickly.  Like she showed up just last month, which might not seem that quick but considering that is only the third time in 3.5 years it seems pretty quick.  I mean, I think she’s very pretty and very funny but I don’t see her in anything.  So I figured she’d pop up the next time I happened to stumble upon something with her in it.  Which I guess is kind of what happened, she was on WTF this week and I just listened and man she is awesome.  I remember years ago, before I ever posted her, I had someone tell me I really should check her out because she is great and this person clearly had a crush.  I get it.  She’s pretty great.  Just fun to listen to so today I want to fuck Lake Bell.

Hello there August.  I want you to be aware that I am fully on to your horseshit, August. It’s still the summer and I won’t have you ruin it by trying to rush the fall here.  I mean, Christ, I walked to the grocery store this morning and it was so hot and humid out I was sweating two steps out the door.  But here you are pushing back to school and talking about fall fashions.  Fuck you, I won’t have it, ti’s still summer and you can’t take it away from us early.  I mean back to school, kids only get so much time off, let’s not ruin it.  August, leave those kids alone!  Tangentially related I started watching Wet Hot American Summer The First Day of Camp last night.  Man that’s a lot to write out, I almost just wrote Wet Hot American Summer but i am sure someone would have felt the need to mention that Lake Bell was not in Wet Hot American Summer.  I am aware.  She is in the First Day of Camp though and it is a nice addition.  Because Lake Bell is funny.  And she is gorgeous.  And she is one of the additions they made that feels like it makes a ton of sense.  She fits in with this cast and frankly had she been a bigger deal 15 years ago I am sure she would have had a place in the movie.  Anyway, I am enjoying it.  I am watching another episode right now.  So here is Lake Bell because today I want to fuck Lake Bell.

Every now and then I get… well not requests, I mean I do get requests, those always kind of make me laugh because it’s the opposite of the point of this blog, but I get… suggestions.  People will tell me to check out so and so or ask me if I like someone and they think I should take another look at them.  This is pretty awesome, I am always happy to get such things in my inbox. Always.  Once upon a time I got one from one of my followers about Lake Bell.  I cannot remember who you are, I am sorry, I wish I could because I’d link to your tumblr. (so you know, if you are still out there and you remember that send me another message, I will link your tumblr tomorrow).  But whoever told me Lake Bell is beautiful and hilarious.  Random Tumblr user isn’t wrong, Lake Bell is very pretty and very funny on Children’s Hospital.  She also made a movie I just watched called In A World… and it was pretty funny.  She was pretty funny.  And she is pretty.  And yeah, I like her and so today I want to fuck Lake Bell.
