If you care at all about red carpet fashion you owe it to yourself to go look at pictures of the Black Panther premier because it might be the most stunning red carpet I have seen. I mean, there have been some good ones but it’s so rare to see top to bottom and the man joining in with the women in wearing stuff that is just gorgeous. It really stood out. I was already excited about the Black Panther because there was a point (god it’s been 15 years) where the Black Panther was my favorite comic coming out. A lot of this movie seems to crib parts of Christopher Priest’s run, so I have really high hopes that we are going to see a good take on a very complex character. But now they go and do this with the premier, so that even if you don’t care about the movie… you have to talk about it today. Well, not you. Me. People like me. I dunno if there was something in the water on set or they just only cast the most fashionable people on the planet but wow, it was great. And I am posting Lupita Nyong’o because it’s over due anyway. I almost posted her after the SAG awards because she also looked great there. She’s no stranger to that, she always manages to look entirely unique and striking on the red carpet. And of all the stuff I saw hers was my second favorite. So shes’ getting posted because I’m just very unlikely to post Donald Glover, no matter how great his suit was. Anyway, the purple alone would be enough to make me take notice but the gold. Oh my god, it’s amazing. It looks like something an actual ancient queen would wear. It’s cool as fuck. And it is why she topped a damn impressive day. Today I want to fuck Lupita Nyong’o.

So the Oscars, right?  I happen to enjoy the Oscars, much like I enjoy the Olympics, I like seeing people genuinely moved when they win something.  I mean, the Oscars doesn’t deliver quite as often (the best awards are the ones that go to people behind the scenes, they always seem more genuinely moved) but usually there is at least someone who gives me a big smile as they win.  This year it was definitely Lupita Nyong’o.  I am not sure how anyone could have watched her and not been happy for her win, she was just so genuinely moved and just so charming up there.  Plus she is very pretty.  It’s not really strange that it didn’t occur to me how pretty she was when I watched 12 Years a Slave because that movie was a brutal experience, there was no looking for eye candy in that, more looking away at horrible brutality.  But she definitely was pretty at the Oscars, I loved her dress and just.. her, she was great.  So today I want to fuck Lupita Nyong’o.
