So Nastia Liukin was at some awards show that had something to do with sports, which makes sense, when she does show up on the red carpet it is usually at least sports adjacent.  I am always glad to see her because I like her and it’s rare for her to show up.  I guess I am glad she is still… I am not sure what the word is.  That life is still affording her certain opportunities.  Like I know she was part of NBC’s coverage of the Olympics and I hope that continues just because she seems like a pretty decent person and also because I hate the way society often spits out Olympic Athletes.  We all struggle with getting older and opportunities passing us by and just there being fewer options but it has always stuck me as especially cruel to the high level athlete, who is old before the rest of us, none more so than female gymnasts.  I have gone down this territory a very long time ago, when Nastia’s shoulder did her in and she missed the cut to make the team at the old age of 19.  It seems like a cruel fate and I remember at some point later that year when I posted her someone reblogged with comments about how pathetic she was for trying to hang on to fame and she should just give up.  It struck me as exceptionally mean spirited to tell a girl of 20 to just pack it in and give up on life.  I get that sometimes we are tired of seeing certain people in the public eye but everyone needs to work.  I am reminded of Patrick Stewart recalling how angry he got when people were implying Star Trek was beneath him when he first started on the show.  Reporters I mean in interviews.  They thought they were sympathizing with them but it angered him and his whole point was what do they expect?  He has to work.  He had a family.  He also said no work is beneath you unless you make it so, you can give your all to anything an elevate it.  That takes us a bit far afield.  My point is a young woman who has spent her entire life doing a thing and then she suddenly can’t anymore before she’s 20, I applaud her for trying to find something else.  We all do a lot of searching and trying to find what to do.  I guess I don’t understand begrudging people that. Especially because I can think of have been chewed up and spit out when they became “washed up” at 19.  So I think part of this is just that I am always pleased to see her doing stuff, it’s a reminder that hey, things are ok.  I am glad.  I mean, she represented my country.  I’ll be honest, I am prouder of the way Olympic athletes have represented my country than a lot of people who represent us.  Also she’s very pretty.  Today I want to fuck Nastia Liukin

Obviously I find Nastia Liukin attractive, I mean, I just posted these pictures.  I wasn’t sure when she would show up again though.  I don’t plan these things and what I am watching or thinking about tends to dictate things followed by pictures surfacing online.  Her pictures don’t surface a lot because athletes don’t get the red carpet treatment.  But hey look, Olympics!  And previews of Gymnastics is on my TV!  I know she isn’t on the team but she is technically there and she has won a gold medal.  A gold medal for America! So here I am doing my patriotic duty and finding Nastia Liukin extremely attractive.   That’s right, it isn’t because she’s pretty, flexible, athletic and has a great body, it’s because I’m an American god dammit.  So for truth, justice, and the way she fills out a leotard: today I want to fuck Nastia Liukin.

This post started with a bit of pondering about athletes and the tiny little tragedies that can permeate all our lives.  I know some people, followers of mine included, hate the idea of anyone ever feeling sympathy for a celebrity.  I guess because they are rich or famous and that should be a salve for any issues?  I would like to think that empathy is an enviable trait though and we should all en devour to feel for our fellow humans when they suffer.  Athletes I feel suffer in a very specific way that is to me, one of those small tragedies that in turn can mirror something we all slowly deal with, just more pronounced and sudden.  Sports have long functioned as a great metaphor for life, it’s why writers have always loved writing about it.  The thing is athletes get old way before we would consider someone old.  Football players are lucky to make it to their mid 30’s before being washed up, tennis players are too old to win by 30, and gymnasts, especially female gymnasts?  They’re old at 20.  A few recent events have me thinking about this, most of us can at least convince ourselves our best days are always ahead of us.  I may not have as much energy as I used to by maybe I have a great love story unfolding just around the corner, fabulous wealth, something.  I can imagine life is one upward motion even if it isn’t.  But what if I was the best in the world at something (something besides this.  Let’s be honest, no one in the world is better at talking about who I want to fuck than me.  I’m a bit of a prodigy when it comes to my own libido).  Nastia Liukin was the best in the world at one point, she won the medal to prove it.  The best.  That has to be an amazing feeling but.. she was 18, she will never be the best again, she’s too old.  While I have no doubt life holds many pleasures for her athlete is what definite most athletes, they dedicate way more time to that than most of us have ever dedicated to anything.  That’s over now.  That has to be a hard road to travel, to be 22 and know that your best days doing the thing you did best, they are done.   It was heartbreaking to see her look like she wanted to cry when she failed at the Olympic trials. So I was thinking about that and just how hard it must be.  Which is a pretty meloncollie thing to write about and you’re probably wondering why I am even mentioning it.  Well, I was thinking about it and then I started thinking about Nastia Liukin, who no matter what is still really hot.  And really flexible and really athletic. So yeah, I went from thinking about that to instead thinking about just how attractive she is.  This is how my train of thought works and I still feel bad for her and the human condition can indeed be awful but you know something that makes it all better and so often worthwhile?  Sex.  Sex is great and so is Nastia Liukin and guess what?  Today I want to fuck Nastia Liukin.

I think there are a lot of people, maybe more men than women but I think both genders can see the appeal, but a lot of people enjoy the idea of a gymnast.  Certainly there aren’t many disadvantages to a partner in bed who is in shape and athletic unless you’re into some sort of wrestling thing and you hate losing.  That doesn’t apply to me though and when it comes to gymnastics and you see the flexibility and agility and tone and… well, for me I think it’s easy to see the appeal.  I mean, it’s a cool party trick that Nastia Liukin can basically touch the top of her head with the bottom of her foot but if you can’t see any possibilities past posing for pictures I feel sorry for you.  Also, she’s quite cute so that only helps.  Throw on top she’s a gold medalist and… it’s basically my patriotic duty to give her some space here on my tumblr.  That’s right, I just claimed I’m doing her a favor.  The medals, the accolades, the Subway commercials, I am sure what she’s really been waiting for is a stranger to talk about her on a pervy tumblr.  Well dammit, I’m going to be that stranger because I’m a true American.  And because she’s hot.  And flexible.  And in shape.  And now I’m just wondering what exactly could happen so today I want to fuck Nastia Liukin.
