Here is Ophelia Overdose because there have been like… a bajillion times in recent months I have almost posted her but it hasn’t happened.  Bajillion being an accurate scientific count of how many times.  She sadly isn’t really on tumblr anymore, which is our great loss, but now and then things do pop up with her and that is always a thrill.  It takes away some pressure knowing she probably won’t read this, though. Seriously guys, I have posted multiple people at this point who have read what I have written about them and you have no idea how stressful that is.  Ophelia Overdose is of course an alt model and like all alt models that is code for a person of impressive and expansive talents.  I basically chose whatever pictures caught my eye today and it is impressive what a chameleon she is.  Also at how beautiful some of her pictures are.  Not her.  I mean she is of course attractive but the pictures themselves.  So often she and her photographer have worked together to create amazing art.  Also I chose one cause it’s very knock off Star Wars.  I guess the Turkish Star Wars of Star Wars pictures.  That’s not an insult, Turkish Star Wars is fully amazing if you’ve never seen it and she is pretty open about the fact that that is a Star Wars inspired picture.  I am going to go see it tonight, which is exciting.  I hope.  It could be bad.  Also I included a picture with lots of shoes because that seemed Christmasy at first glance.  I am not sure why.  I don’t think I am getting any shoes fro Christmas and I definitely didn’t buy anyone shoes for Christmas.  I’ll blame my dear friend Katherine for this because if I am thinking about shoes it’s like 99% her fault.  This has gotten really off track but I will bullshit and claim that’s the magic of good art, it makes you think and feel things and you don’t even know why.  Seriously though, her work is full on art, from the clothing she designs to the pictures she’s in.  Today I want to fuck Ophelia Overdose.

Behold the astoundingness that is Ophelia Overdose.  I feel like I have gone into great detail before about how astounded I am by her work as an artist.  The things she designs are amazing.  The pictures she is part of are amazing.  She is amazing and versatile and just impressive.  I look at a lot of picture of models.  Don’t call me a hero, I am willing to put the work in so you don’t have to.  I look at a lot of these pictures and there is definitely a skill gap between the best and the rest.  This isn’t surprising because that’s how every profession in the world works, some people are just more talented than the rest.  We are lucky to have them around to inspire us.  Anyway, I look at a lot and you also start to notice that some people have things they are better at than others and I will say now one seems to be part of such overall beautiful composition as Ophelia Overdose. Now, I am not an art critic or a model, I am just someone with a blog but I feel like it’s a skill that has to be remarked on, it can’t just be coincidence that her pictures are so often just gorgeous and a step above what I usually see.  It can’t be.  And that isn’t even talking about all the effort that goes in anyway with hair, make up, outfits and so on that she often has a hand in.  I guess what I am just saying is that Ophelia Overdose is incredibly impressive and I am perpetually blown away by her.  I haven’t posted her in a while and it’s because there have been a few times I started to, realized I didn’t have the words to adequately say what needed to be said, walked away and… it got lost.  I doubt she’s broken up about it.  She is incredibly talented though and today I want to fuck Ophelia Overdose.

I am thoroughly impressed with Ophelia Overdose and I feel like I made this very clear in my previous entries about her.  Obviously you’ve read them, I just assume that everyone goes back and reads my old entries all the time.  Right?  The world revolves around me, right?  Good, glad we agree.  This isn’t about me (not directly at least) it is about Ophelia Overdose who is just amazingly talented.  If you don’t believe me (why don’t you?  Do I lie to you often?  Believe me!) just look here at her tumblr miss-overdose or her blog which is extremely rewarding because you get to see all sorts of process stuff.  Really, the talent is unreal because I can’t make shit.  Seriously, I try to make a sandwich and it’s lopsided, I can’t even imagine assembling what is need to make the beautiful pictures she is in.  Anyway, that’s not what I am here to talk about today, I am here to talk about how unbelievably adorable she can be.  She has one of those smiles that is so genuine it feels like her whole being is smiling when you see it and if you follow either of those things or her instagram you’ll see that smile a lot.  Because she smiles a lot.  And she is just adorable, which I feel can be an overlooked virtue for a lot of alt models, so much time is spent on how gorgeous or sexy they are that you can overlook something as important as Opherlia Overdose being just a bundle of adorable.  Well, now you have been alerted.  Don’t forget (really, I am on so little sleep, it’s been like weeks since I have slept well, just roll with me here).  Anyway, that’s why today I want to fuck Ophelia Overdose.

So Ophelia Overdose is back and if you aren’t following her you are missing out.  Her blog is right here. She is awesome for lots of reasons.  I have talked about it before.  Today the part I want to talk about being so awesome is the magic she can do with a needle and thread and whatever else is used to make clothing and the stuff she sticks on other parts of her body.  Notice I am not even sure what else it entails, it really truly could be magic for all I know.  I would believe it because I am the person who buys clothing and somehow they look like garbage once I get them home.  So when someone can actually make clothing and it doesn’t look like they are wearing a tablecloth?  That’s amazing.  She is amazing.  Which is why you should follow her because you get to see a lot of really cool in progress stuff.  (I may have managed to only choose pictures this time of her wearing other peoples clothing.  Look, this blog isn’t about research.  Go to her deviant art page, or her store, I promise you there is lots of stuff she made).  Or you can follow her instagram for the same effect.  But you can see stuff coming together and then when you see it appear in one of her beautiful photos 3 months later you can give the knowing nod of a true hipster and say, “Yeah, I saw that first”.  I am not saying it will make you cool but I am saying it won’t hurt.  Anyway, she is pretty awesome and like a lot of alt models I am so blown away by the depth and breadth of her talents. Also she is gorgeous, I don’t want to forget to mention that because I’d be lying if I said that didn’t play a part in her appearance here.  So there you go, today I want to fuck Ophelia Overdose.

Last time I posted Ophelia Overdose I wrote a book because I really wanted to make a worthy post.  I honestly feel a lot of pressure for some people, more than others.  I can’t really identify a thing that puts people on one side of that line or not but I know in this case it is because I am blown away by her work.  Seriously, I think I would want to go on and on just if we were talking about the clothing.  The fact that she is making her own outfits is impressive enough, I love creative people and am always in awe of the things they do.  I love the stuff she puts together.  Of course then she does the hair and make up usually, too.  And my god the hair is just amazing right?  Real, hair falls, wigs, whatever, what she puts together is just so stunning, I love it.  And she also does some work on the photos.  Awesome.  And then there is her, she is a work of art.  I believe modeling is an art and she just does such an amazing job of being part of a larger composition.  A piece of a larger part of art.  And she can look so different.  What I am saying is I am perpetually impressed by her and feel a lot of pressure to give her the kind of entry she deserves.  But… I mean, who knows if I pull that off. I’d say probably not.  But I am trying.  Because she’s just amazing.  And today I want to fuck Ophelia Overdose.

It feels long overdue that Ophelia Overdose show up here because she is pretty impressive.  I don’t just mean physically, though obviously she is gorgeous.  I mean the fact that like many in her trade she is so skilled at the things people don’t think about.  Her hair, her make up, her clothing, more often than not that’s all her.  Yes, she designs what you see her wearing, yes the wigs and hair are hers.  So is the make up.  I have mentioned before that’s pretty amazing because very few jobs require you to do everything.  As someone pointed out to me before, not only are you required to do all this work, you also have to, you know, find the work.  Photographers willing to pay you don’t just fall out of the sky.  But back to Miss Overdose here, she’s really showing up because I didn’t know she had a tumblr until recently.  Why?  I dunno.  I have known she existed for a long time but as you get older you lose that shame of youth in not knowing every little thing, there’s too much for everyone to know.  Anyway, someone reblogged from her tumblr and it was a strong reminder that she just does amazing work.  Seriously look at the pictures above, I had hundreds like them to choose from.  She isn’t just pretty.  She isn’t just sexy.  Every inch of those things are art, it is amazing how beautiful the pictures are.  That whole package of beauty and skill is just amazing and hard not to appreciate.  So, today I want to fuck Ophelia Overdose.
