I had fallen behind on Doctor Who because… well, it happens, video games have been taking up a bunch of my TV time. Anyway, I caught up this weekend and well, I didn’t know that was going to happen. So here is Jenna Coleman while I remain obtuse about what I am talking about. She is pretty and I like her a lot. So she is who I am posting today because today I want to fuck Jenna Coleman.
“Yo, have you seen the voice actress for Cait?” "I have not". "You should look at the voice actress for Cait". "Wow". Pretty much the conversation I had last night with a friend via text. We had talked a couple of days ago about Cait being a great companion. I like her because she can take a beating. In most situations that would be a horrible thing to say but when you’re fighting a pair of Assualtrons and being shot at by mercenaries it is really nice to have someone who can take a licking and keep on ticking. For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about don’t worry, I’ll explain. I am of course talking about the international climate conference in France. Or not. You can trust me or you can use Google, it’s your choice. Anyway, Katy Townsend is an actress who has done a bunch of video games and a little bit of TV. I have seen her in nothing but I love her accent which it turns out is real even though people on the internet have described her actual Scottish accent as, “Bad fake Irish”. Which, yes, technically a Scottish accent is terrible at being an Irish accent. Just terrible. Anyway, it also turns out she’s hot and I do so love Fallout so today I want to fuck Katy Townsend.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Mine ended up working out ok. I enjoyed it. Anyway, here is Bella Thorne, professional pretty girl. I mean, she’s an actress too but she also has been a model like.. here entire life? I dunno, she was in some pictures for Glamour Mexico recently and i liked them a lot because.. her dress was really shiny and you know me and shiny things, I can’t get enough.. She is pretty. It’s Thanksgiving guys. I hope you have a good one. I am sadly still in pain and not having a great day so I am going to make this short. I am thankful for lots of things but a big one is pretty girls. So here is Candice Swanepoel who is indeed quite pretty. So it occurs to me as I put this together than in the past 3 days I have posted 3 times directly in response to shows about a female hero. This is nice because it wasn’t an option at this time last year but really it’s more nice because things could not be more radically different than Supergirl and Jessica Jones. If I am being honest Jessica Jones is a better show. It’s a better show essentially because it can be, it can explore themes that Supergirl cannot because of what each show is meant to be. That is fantastic. Everything should not be the same and that applies to comic book media as well. There can be something for everyone. More importantly it applies to female characters, I saw a wonderful post the other day talking about it. Jessica Jones and Kara Zor-El are nothing alike. Not at all. It is so nice we have moved past the tokenism of the “strong female character” and moved towards the idea of female characters. I think it can be hard to grasp that representation is not one person who shares one trait with you (gender, race, sexuality, whatever) when you yourself have no such issues finding so many people who share one trait with you. I guess what i am saying is if you’re a straight white guy you don’t immediately associate with every straight white guy on TV because he’s just like you. That would be nuts. No instead you have a whole swath of straight white dudes and you can choose the ones who really seem like you. And that is what representation really is. So two characters aren’t enough but it sure is a whole lot more when they aren’t just the same thing. And it’s ok if one is not for you, my friends @thunderstormofoblivion in a strange bout of desire to be wrong thinks Supergirl is cheesy. That’s of course just silly. And wrong. Supergirl is wonderful, she is hopeful, she is earnest, she is good. These are amazing things and they make me smile. Melissa Benoist is just wonderful in the role. And go find that picture of her carrying a puppy and walking with the most excited girl scouts you have ever seen and tell me cheesy isn’t kind of wonderful. Today I want to fuck Melissa Benoist.
The America Music Awards were last night and on the scale of prestige they aren’t very high but they tend to score well on the scale of who shows up on the red carpet. So I was looking forward to that and the first person I saw pictures of was Demi Lovato and I knew immediately Demi Lovato had won. I just saw her face and it was over. The dress is nice, it’s fine. Turns out it wouldn’t have mattered what she wore because I only needed to see the neck up. Her hair was awesome. And her face? Her face game was unreal. She looked beautiful. I don’t have any other thing I can say to elaborate more than that, I was taken aback by just how amazing she looked. So she’s here, she’s the winner, event over. Today I want to fuck Demi Lovato.
Today’s post really is about a surplus of things to talk about. I am watching Jessica Jones. Like right this second, I paused it so I could type this. I want to talk about the show but I don’t want to spoil anything. I am liking it more and more as time goes on and there is a lot here to unpack about the nature of abusive relationships and the reality of them that is often over looked. The fact that David Tennant is charming and can seem reasonable or even right for a moment is a real asset to the show and it’s really nice that the show shows just how charming an abuser can be and how powerful their hold can be. But I can’t go further than that cause spoilers suck. What I will say instead is Patsy Walker is one of my favorite things about comics. Not the character as much as the idea of the character. She is something that can only exist in comics, nowhere else would you see this. I assume everyone knows Archie comics and more specifically Betty and Veronica. Well, if you don’t know Patsy Walker it’s ok because what she started off as was a character in bunch of comics that were meant o compete with Archie. She was in a book called Hedy and Patsy, the Betty and Veronica of Marvel. She was very popular. Like she starred in a comic for 27 years straight popular. Anyway, I won’t go into too much detail but the Betty of the Marvel Universe graduated from high school and her comic became a career girl romance comic and then eventually she became a Superhero named Hellcat, married the son of Satan, got divorced, died, came back, has some demonic powers sorta. And that is why the character is amazing. So it’s why Rachael Taylor is here because the second I figured out she’s Patsy Walker I knew I was going to post her. It just was surprisingly hard to find decent pictures of her. Strange given I have seen her in lots of movies and stuff. Anyway, comics, Jessica Jones, yadda yadda yadda. Today I want to fuck Rachael Taylor.
I have known for a while this post was probably going to happen today. I mean, Jessica Jones was going to be coming out and there was a really good chance I would watch at least some of it day one. Now, I have never been attracted to Jessica Jones as a character and I still am not. She is a fascinating character but it isn’t like with Peggy Carter or something where a lot of the attraction is the character. I happen to find Krysten Ritter attractive and so I knew seeing her would land her here. Especially if the show is good. I am liking the show so far, it’s such a big departure for Marvel though. Like radically different than anything else they’ve done, which is a good thing because Alias wasn’t really much like other Marvel comics when it came out. Anyway, I dig it and Krysten Ritter is really pretty. And she’s doing a good job. So today I want to fuck Krysten Ritter.
So some movie is coming out really soon, it must be some out there indie drama because I have never heard of it, called The Hunger Games something or other. I guess they made a few others first. You probably haven’t heard about it. Here is super obscure actress Jennifer Lawrence who is the star of this underground film. I guess you might have seen her a place or two before but don’t feel bad if you’ve never heard of her, as I said before, she’s super obscure. Anyway, she looked really good at the New York premier. Well, she’s looked good all week but the black dress and dark lipstick was kind of a new look for her and I kind of dug it. This was a tough choice today because Natalie Dormer also looked pretty good but I guess for now Jennifer Lawrence wins out. Either wway I guess I was going to make my stupid Hunger Games joke. Today I want to fuck Jennifer Lawrence.
Here is Mary Elizabeth Winstead because Mary Elizabeth Winstead is beautiful. She was at another event last night and she was gorgeous. This is on account of her being gorgeous in general.
