So I got a little complainy yesterday about D23 and now I am posting someone from it again, so if I have some issue with it apparently I am part of the problem. I mean, yeah, I am the part of a lot of problems.  I was thinking about it more though and I realized why some of this stuff makes my skin crawl and others don’t.  Regular atendees of Comic Con, and you know, people who claim they have been going for 20 years, often complain about movie studios taking over the event.  When this started depends on which of my friends I ask and how much they hate twilight but it was either the early 2000’s or the late 2000’s.  But my point is, it’s a fan convention originally set up by fans and still, in theory sorta run by fans or fan interests at least.  So if there is a Star Wars panel it is, in theory cause people care about Star Wars.  But let’s be honest, that panel exists to advertise a movie in the best way to advertise anything, make people feel invested and excited and like they aren’t being advertised to.  I guess to me the difference is with D23 or something, it’s a company throwing a party for themselves and advertising to fans and making those fans pay for a ticket for the privileged.  It’s a different dynamic.  At best it’s like that one obnoxious friend in your 20’s who reminded everyone it was her birthday coming up for a month, bullied one of her friends into throwing a surprised party, and then had the gall to act surprised at the surprise party and shed a tear that she was so touched she was so important to everyone that they did this.  It just feels a little creepy and is a red flag that this maybe isn’t a person you want in your life.  So you know, that is probably my issue and now I have written a bunch more words complaining instead of about Daisy Ridley.  Daisy Ridley I find to be a charming delight and I would love to make a joke that she should get away from Disney before Disney reveals itself to be a horrible drama queen and sleeps with Daisy’s boyfriend because Disney can’t feel love so just goes fro attention but… well, I am pretty sure being aligned with Disney is very lucrative for her.  It would be terrible career advice.  And i don’t think an entire company would sleep with her boyfriend.  I just… I mean sex seems like it would stop being fun at some point and probably a lot sooner than any of us want to admit in our fantasies.  Anyway, she is great and I am always glad to see her show up, so maybe D23 has some benefits.  December can’t get here fast enough.  Today I want to fuck Daisy Ridley.

Charli XCX was at the BBC and there were pictures and hey, that’s enough of an excuse for me.  I though she looked pretty.  She really has very nice hair.  I liked it.  I like her a lot and well, it takes just only the tiniest of nudge for me to post Charli.  So here she is leaving the BBC and other things.  And at stuff.  It’s a theme, the theme being she is in all the pictures.  Today I want to fuck Charli XCX.

So Demi Lovato has a new video out I guess?  It’s in promotion of Amazon’s Prime Day, which is a thing I am aware of because Christ Amazon isn’t shy about advertising it.  The world of music is such a strange landscape here in the future.  When I was a kid you would have pilloried someone, even a popstar, for releasing their new single in promotion of a sale.  Now it’s just one of the few ways to make real money with music.  Lord, what have we done? Anyway, I haven’t actually seen or heard it or anything, so I can’t comment on the music.  I have however seen promotional images and I can confirm that Demi Lovato is ridiculously beautiful.  Also apparently it is about how she’s in a good place in her life and good for her.  Also, the visual evidence backs that up because she has just looked amazing recently.  And continues to.  Good for her again.  Today I want to fuck Demi Lovato.

Independent of each other, two people have brought up Fan Bingbing in the past 24 hours with me and the general theme is that she is essentially the most beautiful woman in the world. While I am not the sort of person to believe you can quantify and rank that kind of thing I am also can’t possibly think of a valid argument against this.  Like, if you were to decide that’s the hill you wanted to die on, there is nothing I could say to prove you false.  Or um… I guess I should say if that’s the hill you choose to die on you could possibly live forever.  Wow, is Fan Bingbing the key to immortality?  Jesus, she can do anything.  Anyway, @wildflagsure was pointing out how gorgeous she was and then I woke up to messages about how gorgeous she is from @femalecelebrityoftheday and these were kind of out of nowhere.  Mostly.  The point being that she is so beautiful you just feel compelled to tell someone I guess.  I am telling you guys. She is beautiful. Today I want to fuck Fan Bingbing.

Charli XCX was at the Warner Music party yesterday and I think she looked lovely.  It was a pretty simple block top and pants but I liked it.  She looked good.  I like her a lot.  Now, I am sure someone is aware Charli is with Atlantic but not aware of how the music industry works and wonders why she was at the Warners Music Party.   Welcome to why Pop music isn’t very inventive and why even good artists are herded into a type.  Atlantic Records, one of the legendary labels in all of music is owned by Atlantic Records Group, which owns dozens of labels, many of which were once independent.  Atlantic Records Group is owned by Warner Music Group, which owns thousands of labels, many of which used to be independent of each other.  The record industry, is by and large, owned part and parcel by a small handful of companies.  The result isn’t just creative stifling but a lack of innovation, a slowness to adapt, and a result that means basically musicians make very little money from records anymore, that all goes to the label, and instead make all their money touring.  Which is why I can’t wait for the dinosaurs that are the monolith record companies to finally die.  It won’t really hurt the artists but it might free them.  I know I have low key bitched a lot about labels in recent Charli posts, and you know, part of that is just that I grew up as a punk kid so I have a natural hatred of them anyway, but you know, I’m kind of bitter about the delays of Charli’s album.  Because they of course want her to just keep making the same song.  Something she has always refused to do and according to rumors has gotten her a lot of grief.  In that like, when she wanted to release a free mix tape they stuck their grubby little fingers in that even to really sour it all.  Who knows, I may not like the new album but I do know it will take her in a new direction because that is basically what she does.  I’d like the chance to hear it and to be honest I don’t care what the Warner Monolith thinks of it. Anyway, on top of my anger at her label, she looked great.  Her I adore.  Today I want to fuck Charli XCX.

So Haute Couture Fashion Week is going on in Paris and in past years I don’t remember this getting that much attendance.  I mean, it makes sense to me just because if you are going to go look at clothes, why not look at the expensive, high end clothes you’re never, ever going to get to wear.  Or maybe that’s why celebrities haven’t been at it before, it isn’t out of reach for them.  I guess I am saying Haute Couture shows should almost be like Nascar.  They should be the fashion shows of the people.  I want popcorn and beer and people who somehow lost their shirt but wearing a mesh hat hootin’ and hollerin’.  That’s my dream of a Haute Couture show, aspirational views of fashion as art by the masses.  Or maybe that’s the opposite of the purpose of high brow art as fashion.  If the hoi plloi shows up it ruins the entire point.  Boy, this is some elitist bullshit if you ask me.  Anyway, Priyanka Chopra was at the Armani show, which is nice because she’s attractive and I can spell Armani without looking it up.  I think.  I could be wrong.  Oh well.  She looked good.  I like her.  Today I want to fuck Priyanka Chopra.

Happy Birthday, America!  Are you feeling your age yet?  I get it, it’s been a rough couple of months in a lot of way but I am here to remind you we’re built on a couple of principles and a big one is that we’re in charge.  It’s why we told King George to shove it, because we knew a people can only be ruled through it’s own consent.  We still can only be ruled through our own consent.  It means we can reinvent ourselves whenever we want, which is why I chose Lana Del Rey.  She reinvented herself and it was pretty successful.  That’s the freedom we enjoy, and some people hold it against her but those are sad and bitter people.  Sure their voices are the loudest sometimes but they fade away if like all trolls you don’t feed them.  She pushed forward, she put in the work, she believed in herself.  It’s the same for everything.  We can be the America you want but you have to stand up for it to be so.  That doesn’t mean shutting out opposing views.  It doesn’t mean shutting them down either.  The only way to counter a bad idea is with a good idea.  We have them.  Be vocal.  Keep in mind we can be what we want to be and that King George can get bent for all we care, remember, nothing is more American than telling authority to suck it.  Happy 4th everyone.  Train, say your prayers, eat your vitamins, believe in yourself.  Be a real American.  Today I want to fuck Lana Del Rey.

Hey guys, it’s my friend @wildflagsure birthday today and she’s had a pretty rough week leading up to it.  Her grandfather passed away and it sucks to lose a grandparent.  It’s not a fun way to spend your birthday and the truth is no one can fix it for her, it just needs time, but maybe you can send some warm wishes or sympathy or just something to remind her that she is cared for.  Because it’s her birthday and anything you can do to help it out will be good.  She is worth it. You should probably be friend with her.  She has really good taste in music, almost as good as mine, she has personally met Zeus I think, and she knows how to make drugs with her own two hands.  I mean, let’s be honest, this is a person you need at your parties.  Anyway, I know things are hard for her right now and I don’t really think of Wolf Alice as being comfort music but Ellie Rowsell is really fun to look at and listen to and I also know that @wildflagsure loves her deeply.  So she seems like a good pick for today.  Cause she’s hot and talented.  So today I want to fuck Ellie Rowsell.

Demi Lovato was playing a festival in Brazil and I thought she looked really good so here she is.  Though I saw her with a Brazilian Flag and my first thought was, well I hope she’s back in the states before Tuesday or she won’t get to see fireworks.  Which might be among the dumber things I have thought before.  I don’t think Demi Lovato’s life is lacking for fireworks.  I could be wrong but I bet if she really wanted to see fireworks she could manage somehow, even if she’s in South American for the 4th of July.  Still, if she wants to see them I hope she’s back.  Anyway, I think she is delightfully pretty and I really love her smile. Here is Lea Michele because I find Lea Michele attractive.  Hmmm, well, that’s simple.  Why haven’t I been doing this from the start? I’ve wasted all this time with words.  But really that about sums it up, she is one of those people I can’t quite explain it, I just know I find her more attractive than most people do.  I don’t have a reason but I am not dumb, I know my attraction to her seems to out strip most people’s.  We all have people like that, they just tweak something in us specifically.  She has been doing photoshoots for… I dunno, album promo or who knows what.  Her instagram is a gift typically with her bed series.  She just looks good.  I like it.  Today I want to fuck Lea Michele.
