So I can’t remember how I started following everyone on tumblr but I remember how I came to follow my dear sweet @thunderstormofoblivion. Once upon a time I used to look at the blog of every single person who followed me. That lasted about… 2 years maybe. Gaining followers is self catalyzing because the more you have the more reblogs you get and the more visible your stuff becomes. Plus so many are just blank it became pointless. But I have always noticed when the same person keeps reblogging my stuff. And I really notice when it’s a celebrity I like who gets no attention. Nicki Minaj (who in theory this post is about but isn’t going to get most of the ink here, sorry. She’s hot, I tend to like her, the current drama surrounding her is tiresome though) is one of the few people I have posted who gets shitty remarks either in the reblogs or via anon (on my second blog btw, which is a lot of effort to be a coward). I have danced around this before but let’s be honest, it’s some combination of misogyny and racism that does it. Anyway, I noticed that @thunderstormofoblivion kept reblogging her and so I wanted to check out her blog and i liked it. She seemed pretty sharp. I mean, obviously, she was following me, she must be a person of taste. So eventually I followed her and then sent her an ask with one of those lists of asks because I always do when I see them. It’s a real crime the don’t pop up much these days and even worse people don’t seem to get a lot of asks in response. They’re fun. Anyway, it turns out my first instinct was right, she was fantastic. Easily my favorite Romanian. I know that’s a low bar because I only know Dracula otherwise and everyone knows that guys sucks but I am willing to say my favorite Eastern European. And I know like 8 people whose last name ends in ski. Top in an entire region. It really is impressive. Our friendship is strong so I have faith in it post tumblr but I will still be sad if tumblr tears this kind of thing asunder for people. Sometimes people just want to commiserate together on how hot Nicki Minaj and Blake Lively are and how good I’d look in a leopard print coat. I’m not doing that shit on facebook, I can tell you that much. Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

Here is Becky G cause she was at Spotify’s Secret Genius Awards last night and well, she’s got quite a face. I think she looked beautiful. She just looks great so today was a mostly easy choice except for the fact that there was one other person there who looked amazing. But seriously, Becky G looks so good here. So she wins. Today I want to fuck Becky G.

Here is Nicki Minaj cause it’s about time. Or maybe I’ve already posted her once recently. I don’t know. I just know that she has a dedication to fashion week most years and i appreciate it. This has not been her best year, which is no comment on what she wore but rather that the standards she has set in the past are so high that if I am not blown away I don’t even feel like it’s worth mentioning. That said, a couple of her looks I do like a lot this year. And she’s in Milan now because she has a line coming out and I keep waiting to see more of it. Not that I would wear it but that I like pictures. But I am still waiting. I guess this stuff will have to tide me over. Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

I woke up yesterday to my phone telling me that Doja Cat had released a new track, Mooo! This served as a reminded that I have had the video on my watch later list for like two weeks because I am old and often my reaction to new stuff now is to go, “Oh, I’ll have to remember to get to that” as opposed to when it used to be, “Drop everything, we are watching this right now”. Boy was I missing out. I actually almost posted her back in the spring at some point. It was whenever Go to Town came out because that song was also quite frankly awesome. I would use a euphemism for what it was about but it was pretty openly about eating pussy so I am not sure why I should beat around the bush if she wasn’t. Oh god, there’s a joke there but there’s a line about being shaved so the joke wouldn’t even make sense. Anyway, Mooo! has taken the internet by storm and it’s a work of sheer brilliance. Now, I know someone will try just say it’s stupid but they strike me as very boring people. Because yes it is very stupid. And hilarious. And catchy. And that’s the point. It actually takes a smart person to put stuff like this together and her music has always been striking in how catchy it is and how all over the map the subject matter is. Anyway, I am posting her cause she’s kind of cool and kind of hot. I hope new found fame is good for her, I have already heard rumblings of controversy but haven’t dug too deep. We all have our trials, because all of a sudden I have heard people say Doja Cow and I get why they made that mistake and I am really worried my fingers will betray me. Anyway, the truth is the song is a real ear worm and has been stuck in my head so as hard as decent pictures were to find I am just embracing it. Today I want to fuck Doja Cat.

The VMAs were last night and they were kind of disappointing from a fashion sense. I mean, they weren’t like a tire fire or anything but I largely found it not that exciting. I liked a few looks but nothing truly moved me. So I am posting Nicki Minaj. Her outfit really wasn’t anything special but I like Nicki Minaj. There is some stuff going on with her right now and at this very moment I don’t care. I mean that in the sense that I can’t be bothered to form an opinion one way or another at this precise moment. I have no thoughts because my brain is not really working. I am kind of tired, kind of cranky and I just happen to find Nicki Minaj attractive so I am posting her. Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

I hope everyone had a good weekend.  Mine was pleasantly relaxing.  Not feeling at my best it turns out allowed me to do absolutely nothing the past two days completely guilt free.  Like, it felt like sitting around playing with dolls on my computer was the responsible, adult thing to do because I was resting. Which is the best gift of all, slacking and feeling like a hero for doing so. Anyway, here is Nicki Minaj who I can’t imagine was slacking this weekend. She strikes me as a very hard worker because she’s always doing something. I don’t have a specific reason for posting her I guess besides finding her attractive. Not a lot of celebrity news this weekend but she came up in a discussion this morning and that’s good enough for me.  She is very attractive.  And hey, last time I posted her the post got a lot of love instead of the usual hate. I am sick so I am phoning this in today.  This is Becky G.  I have posted her before but am remarkably uninformed about her.  I just know she’s pretty and I assume somewhat successful since she pops up on my computer screens from time to time.  Good for her!  She is adorable.  Today I want to fuck Becky G.

Here is Nicki Minaj because she was on the cover of Paper Mag which is attempting to break the internet.  Will it?  Probably not.  The internet is more resilient than magazine publishers would like you to believe.  I liked the cover though.  Is it lascivious pandering?  Yeah, probably.  Definitely.  It turns out sometimes I am ok being pandered to.  Mostly because I find Nicki Minaj very attractive and am ok with the idea of there being three of her.  I’d add the cover to the post but there isn’t a really high quality version of it and obviously I have high standards here. It’s probably what most people think when they see the name of the blog: high standards. I find Nicki very attractive and am always happy for the chance to post her.  After all, as was pointed out to me recently, I made a friend in @thunderstormofoblivion by posting Nicki.  Who wouldn’t want to post her more if that’s the result?  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.
