Here is Bella Thorne because she did a photoshoot on a beach the other day and… spoiler alert, Bella Thorne is pretty hot.  I have stated before I am not really a bikini person in the sense that I don’t care.  I have no strong feelings any direction so I find other people’s obsession a little eye roll inducing.  They aren’t something exciting like uh… I dunno, shiny gowns on a red carpet.  That’s something to be obsessed with.  Anyway, she is in various bits of swimwear here because well… there was a theme, why not just go with it?  Anyway, there was a gif and a bunch of pictures and I came to the conclusion she was hot.  It’s a gift, my ability to determine these things.  Today I want to fuck Bella Thorne.

Jessica Chastain was at the Independent Spirit Awards last night and thank god!  I feel like I have been a little cheated this Chastain Season because she skipped over a lot of the awards stuff on account of being out of the country and working on movies like some sort of actress or something.  It’s one of those mixed feelings thing because in the right now I just want more picture of her on the red carpet because she is beautiful and elegant and I want to see what she decides to wear.  But long term I know what I really want are more movies with Jessica Chastain because she is a remarkably gifted actress and like all great artists every work of theirs is a gift.  Still… kinda wanted her showing up in pretty gowns.  I am glad she’s in town though because I was worried she might not be at the Oscars.  I just didn’t want to know how you could have the Oscars without her.  I mean, I know they did it for like 80 years that way but never again if I have my way.  So she should be there, which means I am fully willing to admit she might get posted again tomorrow because… well, who knows what the red carpet will bring tonight.  I included an after party pic from last year’s Oscars though just… cause?  It made sense when I chose it.  I am looking forward to the Oscars though because I happen to enjoy it, and not just in the let’s bitch about it way.  I could watch people win the minor awards all day, it’s nice to see someone have a truly great day.  They look so happy.  Anyway, here is Jessica Chastain because she is magnificent.  Today I want to fuck Jessica Chastain.

I watched Gilda last night because I was feeling heavy hearted and my mind was in a place that watching some Film Noir just felt like the right thing to do. As a result, here is Rita Hayworth, who was born not a Hayworth but a Cansino.  The studio changed her name and dyed her hair red because if people thought she was too ethnic they wouldn’t see her in movies.  Who knows if this is true, Hollywood has a lot of bullshit rationalizations for their racism.  Be it the public or the system, the result is the same, the world is a cesspool and as such the good get doused in shit and the bad are just aware enough to float to the top if they want.  Differences are to be eliminated because it makes us feel more secure.  We crave order more than justice and especially if that order keeps us safe at the expense of some other guy’s liberty.  Sorry, this isn’t cheery I guess. In fairness, I said I was in the mood for Film Noir so I wasn’t in the best place with my view of humanity.  It’s a genre that at it’s best is bleak and it’s view of the human condition and more importantly the way man treats man is at its lightest described as dark.  Anyway, this is Rita Hayworth’s best known role and to many people the defining Femme Fatale.  It makes sense because she is conniving, manipulative, and is has a sexuality to her so white hot I am surprised the celluloid didn’t burst into flame.  It’s a neat trick to make a character you know would be trouble but even as you’re watching you know you’d fall for it.  Hayworth was known for her iconic red hair, which as said earlier wasn’t really red.  She was one of the premier sex symbols of the 40’s and I included the most iconic poster of her in this set so you can see it.  It’s the poster that inspired the Shawshank Redemption and who knows how many fantasies (I think, I can’t remember, it all gets mixed up in my memories sometimes).  It was a good movie, I had seen it before but had almost forgotten how much I enjoyed it.  Rita Hayworth alone is worth the price of admission.  Today I want to fuck Rita Hayworth.

I watched the Martian last night and it was ok.  I mean I liked it but it didn’t strike me as all that special.  Maybe it’s just early and I am being negative.  It was mainly a Matt Damon solo piece so you might be wondering how I managed to get Jessica Chastain here but it doesn’t take a lot of Jessica Chastain for me to want to post her. She was in it, she was good in her small role.  I just like having excuses to post her honestly because she’s great. I am still on a crummy keyboard so I won’t elaborate further because I keep having to go back and correct stuff.  My shift key doesn’t work have the time and I talk about myself a lot.  All those lower case I’s are killing me.  Today I want to fuck Jessica Chastain.

So yesterday Cracked.com posted a video called the Scientific Reason you want to have sex with Jessica Rabbit.  It wasn’t the greatest cracked video, I do quite like what they do, but it was a subject near and dear to my heart.  And it kind of comes down to she was drawn that way.  It’s kind of why I am posting her.  I shared the link with my friend @whole-lies-and-half-smiles because she, like me, understands that Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is a very good movie, a great example of Film noir while also subverting a lot of the genre.  Now, there are indeed reasons that Jessica Rabbit fires the sexy centers of our brain even though in reality she would be horrifying (as proven by Heidi Klum this Halloween).  I also think the appeal is more than that, there are plenty of “sexy” cartoon characters and while I am sure they all have people who like them Jessica Rabbit has a ridiculous amount of staying power.  She was in one movie and a couple of shorts 25 years ago and yet is very popular.  Popular to the degree that it is very hard to find actual pictures of her instead of fan made porn.   I mean, make your porn but I also follow things like Supergirl tag and it’s not an issue there.  I think the Femme Fatale, as an archetype is something appealing and maybe under served in modern media but she also is a twist on that because she isn’t really the classic Femme Fatale.  See, the classic Femme Fatale is usually the wrong woman.  Her purpose is to lead the male lead into dangerous situations.  She is temptation given form and she is a bad idea.  Believe me, I know how attractive a bad idea can be, so I know why that has always resonated.  That is how Jessica Rabbit is portrayed in the movie but it’s a bait and switch.  She isn’t the wrong girl and she isn’t really leading Eddie down the wrong path.  She is actually helping him and she saves him.  She is actually the good girl, who usually serves as the counter to the Femme Fatale and the one point of light in Noir.  Which I think is why she appeals so much.  Yes, she is drawn to look bad and fire that part of our brain but it is a movie I think most people saw as kids, so she is safe, too, because she actually is the girl you bring home to mom.  She’s coded both ways.  She is the whore and the Madonna wrapped into one, which in the end means Jessica Rabbit lets you have your cake and eat it, too.  Sometimes I over think things like cartoons.  Today I want to fuck Jessica Rabbit.

Here is Anastasia Scheglova whose name I can almost spell without looking.  Almost. Well… I may actually be able to but I don’t have confidence so I get to her last name, start typing and then pause to look it up to make sure I have it right.  She is here today on account of attractiveness.  Which I guess sums up this blog for the most part but I don’t know that much more about her.  But @she-goes-to-eleven has started posting 11 pictures of her favorite girls and started with Anastasia the other day.  You can find her post here.  That is worth looking at but nakedness guys, lots of nakedness over there.  Anyway, Anastasia Scheglova is all over the internet these days, or at least the parts I stumble across.  She is very pretty so today I want to fuck Anastasia Scheglova.

Here is Jessica Chastain.  Again.  I know it’s just been a couple of days but I saw Crimson Peak finally so this was inevitable.  The movie was… flawed but interesting.  It was a lot of what I’d expect from Guillermo del Toro in that it was beautiful to look at, the set design was amazing, and it was atmospheric.  It also was very slight.  The acting was very good across the board though.  It is a good example of why an attempt to make art can still be worthwhile even when it fails.  It was not a good enough movie for me to recommend or something I see myself seeking out on purpose later but at the same time it had so many elements that were good that I don’t regret it.  There are still things to enjoy and think about.  Jessica Chastain is one of those, she was good as always.  It wasn’t her most complex character but again she is so compelling to watch.  And spoilers, she is evil, which I will be honest if you didn’t know after five minutes you probably haven’t seen a movie before, but it turns out evil Jessica Chastain is an extremely hot Jessica Chastain.  I turns out I really enjoy her stabbing people or shoving women over railings.  Anyway, it was obvious she’d be here because she is great and I adore her.  Today I want to fuck Jessica Chastain.

Last week at one point I was going to post Jessica Chastain and I had all these thoughts about genre film making and roles for women and what that had to do with her is the fact that she has talked about how things like horror provide much more interesting and varied roles for women than more “respectable” genres do.  But I don’t really remember what I was going to say about it at this point other than I had thoughts about it.  That post also didn’t happen.  Then I used the holidays to completely revamp my collection of media and that brought a bunch of movies of hers to the forefront and then just a couple of days ago some pictures of her related to A Most Violent Year were tagged for me by @thunderstormofoblivion.  And that had me thinking about how often a movie is elevated by her performance and I had thoughts about that.  I don’t remember those either.  It’s been a tiring few days.  So Jessica Chastain is here today really because she has been in the back of my mind for a while and because I think she is amazing.  She is just great and I am a huge fan.  So here she is.  Today I want to fuck Jessica Chastain.

Here is Molly C Quinn because this weekend pictures of her surfaced for some magazine.  I can’t remember what.  It was kind of a reminder she exists.  I used to watch Castle early on.  I basically watched it for Natahan Fillion cause he is all kinds of great.  And he was indeed great on it but the problem with procedurals is they tend to repeat themselves quickly.  I don’t know when exactly I stopped watching but it feels like a very long time ago.  I know it’s been a while because I posted Molly well over 2 years ago and in that post I mentioned I had stopped watching a long time ago.  Anyway, as such I don’t think of Molly Quinn very often.  I am not sure why she doesn’t do other stuff.  I mean, she does but it seems limited to a lot of voice acting and stuff.  Seems like someone is sleeping on her because I found her very winning on Castle, for a limited role and a show that repeated itself I always really enjoyed her work.  And she is pretty.  Well, she was in this horror short called The Shift.  You should check that out if you haven’t cause it’s pretty cool.  I am glad she has made a return because 30 months is too long for her to be away.  Today I want to fuck Molly C Quinn.

I got to see A Christmas Horror Story last night and that is why this post is happening.  I really quite liked it.  I have a soft spot for Christmas in general and Christmas themed horror more specifically.  Christmas has given us a few great horror movies and a whole lot of not great but highly entertaining horror movies.  So I have a soft spot for them.  I also like anthologies so I really enjoyed this movie.  It does everything I wanted it to do and more, flawlessly weaving the stories together instead of just telling a handful of separate stories with some framing device.  It was great.  I mean, I don’t think if you hate horror you should rush out and see it but this is great. So I am posting Zoe De Grand Maison who has just a fantastic name.  Looking at IMDB I realize while she is brand new to me I would imagine there is a very small group of people who are very huge fans of her given she has been on Orphan Black.  In my experience that fan base is passionate and secondary characters often get an enthusiastic following on that kind of show.  She was pretty, she was good, I liked her enough to look up who she was.  And I really liked the movie.  So today I want to fuck Zoe De Grand Maison.
