There were lots of people to post today. I went back and forth and there are like 5 people who I kind of wish I could post but Doutzen Kroes is here. I read an interview about her attempts to save the Elephants which is awesome but if I am going to be honest it’s here stuff with Hunkemöller that sold me. If you are curious about stuff I care about most people don’t, I am glad she is working whit them cause the H&M stuff just wasn’t cutting it. It was boring. Hunkemöller though… they have really put together some great stuff. Both clothing wise and shoots wise. So largely Doutzen Kroes is here because her stomach is nuts. Just nuts. And like, of course it is, she’s a highly paid model but I do want to point out, as always, she is the mother of two and has been called “over the hill” by dicks online. Those people are wrong, she is amazing and today I want to fuck Doutzen Kroes.
So for me at least, Playboy’s switch over to no more nudity is paying off big. I think some people complained at the time but I didn’t pay much attention to them because they were either 80 year old men who didn’t know the internet worked or people who I assume didn’t get Playboy anyway. For me, it was exciting because mostly Playboy did very good work when it came to photoshoots. Sometimes they airbrushed stuff to hell but for the most part they seemed to have a style and theme to them and were good. Better than a lot of places. So if they wanted to continue to take good pictures but not naked I knew it might actually get some photos of people I care about who never would have graced the pages otherwise. Like Anna Kendrick, who is apparently going to be in the latest issue and looked great. I really like the photos, I hope we get more/better shots from it. Either way, it is how it’s paying dividends in my mind cause Anna Kendrick was never going to be naked in Playboy. But she is there clothed and I’ll be honest, more Anna Kendrick is never a bad thing. Never. Today I want to fuck Anna Kendrick.
I have kinda meant to post Chanel Iman for like… oh, since this blog started. Like, there have been time I almost have but it never happens. That happens sometimes, especially with models cause I kinda have to connect with them but also unless you are actively kind of seeking out a model, you don’t necessarily see a lot of her. I almost posted her when I watched Dope but her scene in that was purposefully unsexy by the end so… well, she’s here. The Glamour Women of the Year awards were last night and she wore a very shiny dress that looked great. And she looked great! So there was some stuff going on this weekend and I liked some of the pictures coming out of it but I am not going that direction, I am instead posting model and photographer Hannah Ray. Not too long ago someone asked me if I had seen how good her recent work was and my answer was, “Well, yeah but it’s always good”. Because it is. It’s impressive how good it often is. I recommend her blog if you have never checked it out. I mean, not her tubmlr, though that is certainly well worth checking out, but her blog blog because I find it very interesting, aseptically if you go back as a way. Anyway, I have no special insights here, she is just who I am posting because I really enjoy her work. So Emmy Rossum was at a thing celebrating a thing and I can’t really remember what it was but I am going to guess something awards related. Anyway, I thought she looked sharp as hell in her blazer so I am posting her. I don’t ever really watch anything with Emmy Rossum in it but I often like how she dresses because she looks sharp often. Also she is just very, very pretty. So she’s here today. Today I want to fuck Emmy Rossum.
So Christina Hendricks is starting to do press for the new Bad Santa movie and that’s a good thing. Hopefully the movie is good, the original certainly was hilarious. But also I never even think about Christina Hendricks anymore so it’s nice to have her brought back to my attention. Once Mad Men was gone I guess it was easy for her to fade into the background. She looked pretty though and I will always adore her for her work on the show and I look forward to seeing her in Bad Santa as well. Today I want to fuck Christina Hendricks.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead was at a thing for the Golden Globes sort of last night. It seems to be more a party about hey, awards season is on the way. That’s a thing I usually feel like celebrating as well but truth be told I have mainly listened to pop songs about heartbreak the past few days and I realize why, it’s because my country has largely broken my heart. You know there are flaws in anything you love but it’s hard when those flaws rear their ugly head and reveal themselves to be more significant than you ever imagined. It is hard because you don’t really want to believe there is that much racism, that much misogyny. But there is. And it shouldn’t surprise me. But this post is me trying to move on and quit dwelling, it will accomplish nothing and the world will go on. Mary Elizabeth Winstead will continue to go to awards shows and the world will persist. I will continue to do what I can and I will continue to exist. There will be awards and movies and red carpets and those things will bring me joy. I won’t forget the way this burns but you shouldn’t, it’s the only way you grow as a person, you suffer your heartbreaks, you put your heart back together and you move forward wiser and stronger and armed with the knowledge of how much it hurts and how you will never do that to someone if you can help it. So I am doing that, I am resolved and for some reason seeing Mary Elizabeth Winstead helped me there so today I want to fuck Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
So, Tove Lo’s album started streaming… last week maybe? The week before? It all blurs together. My birthday was a week ago and honestly it feels much, much longer ago than that. Anyway, it is released on vinyl tomorrow but a copy showed up at my house today, which is nice. So I am posting her because she writes pop music that I like and this album is very interesting, especially about the dynamics of being a woman and how that is different than being a man. I could go into more but I honestly still don’t quite feel like it. Just rest assured the music is good and she is pretty. Today I want to fuck Tove Lo.
