So a lot of people won’t remember this but there was a point where there were only a handful of real channels.  I mean, cable was populated by channels but they weren’t really offering things like they do now, Comedy Central was all just recut stand up, Cartoon Network was old Hannah Barbara cartoons, TBS, TNT and their ilk fought over 1950’s sitcoms to throw on the air, and most of the rest showed old movies.  It was a wild time, guys, and my cable box only went up to 64!  This era slowly started to end but it still existed in the 90’s, which is how you could have a show become massively talked about while never being very highly rated, which would describe Felicity.  Seriously, everyone was talking about it, when Keri Russell cut her hair everyone had an opinion (the opinion was she should not have).  It feels like another world because in a way it was, the WB doesn’t even exist anymore and even if it did it would not have shows that were so talked about… almost nothing is so talked about anymore, there’s too much competition.  My basic point here isn’t really about TV but about the fact that I am old, Keri Russell is older than me but not so much older than me than she felt in 1998, and it is striking because she went from a fresh young face with her amazing curls to… playing the mom on TV.  More so, her playing the mom is not particularly unreasonable because she’s old enough, it’s just been that long.  But it is making me feel a little old.  So is the fact that finding pictures of her was surprisingly hard, her fame was before the rise of internet gossip so you have a lot of old magazine scans and now no one is that interested so you get… not much.  Stuff changes fast now.  Still, one thing I don’t think has changed is that she’s a very attractive women, I am watching the Americans (from what I am reading about the ratings it is just me and like her mom who are watching) and really enjoying it.  She is playing the mom now but that’s ok because she’s still so pretty, which makes me feel a little better.  Anyway, my real point here has nothing to do with anything, it’s just that today I want to fuck Keri Russell.

And Jessica Chastain is back because I am pretty much crushing on her at this point.  It’s pretty easy to explain why, she is attractive yes but more so she is so talented.  I just love her work and it is so easy to crush on someone when you have a deep respect for them.  I mean, think about it, you can totally find someone attractive and not have any respect for them.  You can even end up in bed with someone and not respect them.  You usually don’t call those people back.  But your crushes?  You think everything about them is great.  It’s pretty hard to think, “Well, that girl has no talent, is kind of stupid, is vapid… but oh my god, I am so crushing on her right now”.  It just doesn’t work.  So my point is my crush on Jessica Chastain is a sign of respect, like when a dog shows you his belly.  So… I hope she’s honored right now because today I want to fuck Jessica Chastain.

Sometimes a celebrity I pick ends up representing an experience as much as anything else.  Or maybe I am phrasing that wrong and it’s not giving the individual enough credit but what I am saying is that I will watch a movie or something and really like the movie and that makes someone in it far more attractive to me.  I just watched Sleepwalk with Me, which I knew I was predisposed to like anyway but i really enjoyed it.  It is not the first time I have seen Lauren Ambrose but I didn’t know that until I looked her up on IMDB. She was in the standard role for girls in a movie about a guys with an existentialist crisis, the long suffering girlfriend.  That said, she did it well and avoided the pitfalls that role can bring (the nag, the killjoy, the whatever unfun women are harpies thing it can be).  Instead she was a human being, as was everyone else, and she just seemed decent and good but sometimes people should not be together.  Anyway, I enjoyed the movie, I enjoyed her, and she’s really pretty.  So today I want to fuck Lauren Ambrose.

Welp, it is Elizabeth Gillies.  It has certainly been a while since she has shown up.  Just one of those things, not like my life takes me into media she is in very often.  That said, she is pretty and I really appreciate how much her fandom loves her.  I am always impressed that people are so passionate about her.  And I get it, she is pretty, she is funny, she seems to be incredibly nice to her fans.  It’s always nice when someone makes it a rewarding experience to root for them.  She’s mainly just here because I think she’s kind of sexy and today I want to fuck Elizabeth Gillies.

Amy Adams might have had my favorite dress at the Oscars and yes, I have opinions about dresses at the Oscars.  Anyway, it made me wonder why she wasn’t here more and I didn’t really have a great answer because she is pretty great, I am definitely a fan of her and her work and I find she is always pretty.  I pretty much assume it is some sort of Madonna Whore thing because that isn’t just for Catholic boys, I think we all have it to a degree, it’s kind of beaten into us.  She’s so pretty and I hold her in such high regard it almost feels wrong to have thoughts that are too lascivious about her.  Which is stupid because A) she isn’t going to know what I am thinking so I’m not protecting her and B) It’s kind of sexist and insulting to separate women in such a way, especially in our mind.  But it’s one of those things you can’t control, we’ve all be conditioned with various societal pressures but man, that is so not what this blog is about, right?  It’s about the fact that she is very pretty, she has great hair, pretty eyes, and has a wonderful mix of sweetness and kindness backed with steely resolve that makes her such a delight on screen.  Basically, what I am saying is today I want to fuck Amy Adams.

So here is Anna Kendrick again.  I have posted her before and had my little personal discussions about her attractiveness and so on.  I still see why I was hesitant, not that she isn’t pretty but she is not the walking sex bomb (sex bob-omb?  She was in that movie too) a lot of celebrities who get posted here are.  That said what she is is whip smart, funny, and talented and I watched Pitch Perfect last night where she was yes, also sexy.  Anyway, I like her a lot as an actor and I find myself liking her more and more as a pick here, because she’s pretty but there is other attractiveness to her as well.  Today I want to fuck Anna Kendrick.

I am not entirely sure where or why I heard of Juno Temple.  I remember the first time I kind of noticed her, it was in Dirty Girl, which I actually really liked and I really enjoyed her performance.  But I got the movie because the trailer looked ok in front of ANOTHER movie I had rented and it said it starred Juno Temple.  So my immediate reaction was, “Oh yeah, Juno Temple, I have heard of her”.  To this day I don’t have a clue why I knew that name and associated it with quality.  Maybe it’s just unique enough that it sticks with you.  Thing is, I have noticed her in a few things now and I generally think she is good.  I also think she is pretty.  Of course, someone I follow is really into her so I do get to see a lot of pictures, that probably keeps her on my mind.  Anyway, today I want to fuck Juno Temple.

So the Oscars were last night and i pretty much knew today would have me posting someone who was prominent there.  It was just a given, too many people would look gorgeous for me to wake up today and start thinking about obscure athletes or something.  Especially because I am up early and looking at pictures so they are out there.  Look, everyone has their favorites and there are lots of very attractive people I am very attracted to.  Today it’s Jennifer Lawrence because.  Just because.  Some people really dislike her but more people seem to really like her.  I get the like her part, I find her charming and fun and pretty, I should mention she fell because… tumblr was really into that fall?  It didn’t seem like a big deal to me.  I don’t have a lot more to say about it other than today I want to fuck Jennifer Lawrence.

So the Oscars are tonight and I am looking forward to it.  I have been told the Oscars is the Superbowl for women but I don’t know about that.  I am pretty sure the Superbowl is the Superbowl for everyone and the Oscars are just the Oscars.  Still, there is something for almost everyone.  Lots of people like watching celebrities, there are the dresses, there is some sort of spectacle, people have rooting interests and so on.  I find awards shows are perfect background noise, you don’t have to pay that much attention to know what’s going on but it is nice to have and look over to.  As someone who runs this here blog there is the added advantage of a ton of great pictures coming in the next couple days.  I won’t lie, red carpet fashion can be pretty great to look at sometimes.  And the after parties.  But the real thing I like is when someone wins and it is clearly the greatest thing that happens to them.  I mean, this isn’t every winner, some people are still too cool for school but someone will be in genuine tears, or will be so happy they don’t even entirely make sense. That is fucking magic.  I mean I know it’s masturbatory self congratulation but to see true unbridled happiness from someone who has worked hard?  That’s always awesome.  Anyway, that’s why Jessica Chastain is here.  She probably is not going to win, that’s not how these things work, she hasn’t paid her dues (which is a shame, she might be getting to old to win, no lie the average age of female winners is, no lie, more than 8 years younger than the average age of Male winners and the most common age for a woman to win at is 29).  But I like her, and when I thought about the Oscars I thought about her, because I think she is very talented and I think she is very pretty.  I mean, there are lots of pretty nominees, many who have appeared here and who I won’t at all be upset if they win but my thoughts are with Jessica Chastain.  Today I want to fuck Jessica Chastain.

So I watched Day Dream Nation and what strikes me about Kat Dennings every time I see her is how much I like her.  I am honestly kind of surprised she doesn’t show up more often because she is pretty awesome.  I think she is infinitely charming on screen and she is very hot.  I guess she just isn’t on my radar enough because whenever I see something with her in it am struck all over again with just how great she is.  So obviously she’s here today because she’s awesome and great and charming and hot.  Today I want to fuck Kat Dennings.
