Today is Record Store Day and I am pretty excited cause I have been waiting forever and it’s finally here. It feels fitting to have a musician up here as a result, though unless I am blind she has nothing out there today.  She actually isn’t here because it’s Record Store Day, she is here because her Maxim pics started showing up yesterday afternoon and my god did she look good.  Which is honestly my reaction every time I seem to see new pictures of her.  It has been less than a year since i first posted her and this is her 15th time showing up.  That’s a really rapid rate but it’s because she has so much going for her.  I really enjoy her personality when I hear her talk or read stuff about her.  I am currently converting people to her music as well, which I enjoy.  It’s amazing the purchase she is finding in my social group given we’re pretentious indie douche bags. But she can write a really good pop song.  But today might be, honestly, more just about how good she looks.  She is one of those people, something about her look just clicks with me and… wow she is gorgeous.  Anyway, I have to run cause you know, I am going to go stand in line in front of a record store so I can get in there, buy records and later hold them up and go, “Neener neener I have this and you don’t”.  Today I want to fuck Charli XCX.

Big weekend this weekend with lots of big entertainment options, Game of Thrones is back, Mad Men is making it’s final push, Daredevil showed up, Coachella is going on, and of course the MTV Movie Awards happened.  I could have sworn they used to happen during the summer but then I am old and forgetful so it seems really likely I just forgot and am wrong.  Lord knows I am not going to go look that up.  Anyway, I have decided Charli XCX won because I think Charli XCX is beautiful and I liked what she wore.  So all hail Charli XCX as she wins what is clearly the most important award of all, my approval.  Today I want to fuck Chali XCX.

Some friends and I were discussing music a week or so ago and for some reason this turned into some kind of dick measuring contest via spotify that I sadly could not participate in for multiple reasons, the foremost being I don’t use Spotify. Anyway, they were all comparing most recent listened to albums as a way to discuss what we’ve been listening to but also with the soft undercurrent of, “My taste is better than yours:”.  Anyway, one friend, the one with the best tastes honestly, got to Charli XCX’s Sucker and said, “I uh… have been listening to this album a bunch.. I don’t know why”.  He was clearly doing some damage control and was embarrassed, which is stupid for lots of reasons but stems from the misconception that somehow pop music is to be avoided by those who see themselves as part of any kind of underground.  I immediately spoke up and said, “Yo, you’ve been listening to Charli XCX so much because she is a remarkably talented Pop song writer and writes amazingly catchy and good pop songs.  That’s why.  No big mystery”.  And then everyone kind of sighed a relief and everyone started talking about how much they enjoy Charli XCX.  Because you know, you can take the former record store employee music snob douche bags out of their 20′s but you can’t totally remove their bad habits.  Anyway, I hope as a group of friends we’re past that and can recognize that while a lot of pop music is bad, just like any other genre, plenty of pop music is good.  As far as problems go in the world this is a minor one but it is one I’d like to see conquered at some point.  Anyway, that was my little personal story to start this that took the entire time.  Whoops.  Well, Charli XCX is talented and she is gorgeous and she’s here because of that.  I am way into her and into her music and today I want to fuck Charli XCX.

Here is Charli XCX who I am extremely attracted to.  I think she is actually really talented.  Her voice is great, I enjoy her song writing because I think crafting a good pop song is actually incredibly hard.  There are a lot of bad pop songs out there, the good ones are rare.  I like her enough I own a copy of Sucker on Pink Vinyl.  None of that is why she is here today, she is here because I find her crazy attractive.  And I am sure that goes into it some.  I mean, definitely I am more attracted to artists whose art I enjoy.  She is special though, she is one of those people who I look at and she just has a special something about her.  I don’t know if it’s attitude or some special combination of physical attributes or what.  It’s like the people I have picked the most since i started this blog, someone who just shows up and suddenly I cannot look away.  She is just… compelling.  So today I want to fuck Charli XCX

Man, I am so attracted to Charli XCX.  I don’t even really know what to say besides that.  It feels like more and more people are agreeing with me.  That’s nice because I heard some rumblings of dissent early on.  I will crush dissenters.  Well, probably not but you’re wrong.  I may have a key person or two to convert but I am working on it.  I am not sure why I have to work on it because look at her.  Right?  On top of that I happen to also think she’s quite talented.  But look at her.  Today I want to fuck Charli XCX.

Here is Charli XCX because… I haven’t posted her yet this year?  That seems like a good enough reason.  Because I happen to think she is quite attractive and even more compelling to contemplate.  I can’t fully articulate it but she has something.  And yeah, part of it is her voice and her ability to write a really good hook but there is something else.  That just happens sometimes, I latch onto someone and am just more into them than people around me seem to be.  I don’t have a solid reason why other than “because”.  Charli XCX is one of those, I just like her.  I also happen to be extremely attracted to her.  They kind of feed off of one another.  So she’s here for the first time in 2015 because today I want to fuck Charli XCX.

I had a feeling I could end up posting Charli XCX today because of the whole SNL appearance thing.  I just posted her Thursday but I kinda knew.  What I didn’t know is that I would be tempted to post her again before today.  If she wanted to stop me from being obsessed with her she failed miserably in the past few days where she has basically looked amazing.  Including on SNL.  Where she looked amazing.  I thought she acquitted herself well though I read some criticism about her dancing (did she dance?  I didn’t notice.  It’s very interesting that your criticism is of a singer is their dancing.  We got some dancing a few weeks ago and everyone noted how obviously lip synched the performance was.  Look, SNL’s music performances are just no longer a vital cultural thing.  Elvis Costello isn’t walking out there to thumb his nose at radio any time soon.  Hell, I remember when someone being revealed to Lip Sync was a huge thing.  Now it’s the standard.  I am not going to get on someone who appears to have actually been singing).  She looks good.  She pretty much always looks good to me.  I am into her.  Today I want to fuck Charli XCX.

Guys, I am pretty much obsessed with Charli XCX at this point.  Yes, I am aware pretty much obsessed is an inherent contradiction, it’s like being kinda pregnant, you can’t be, you are or you are not.  But she has me discombobulated. As I am prone to do in these times I am of course over thinking things as I try to put my finger on just what it is about her that is so appealing.  It’s really hard to define sometimes.  I mean, sometimes it’s obvious but sometimes something about a girl.. just clicks.  I think it might be her confidence.  Or maybe self assurance is the word.  It’s interesting.  She has like… the experience of someone who has worked for years but doesn’t really have the baggage or reality altering experience of child stardom like other people her age have who have been performing as long as her.  So she has the confidence of someone who knows their shit but also the humility of someone who readily admits she is still searching and learning.  It’s a charming combination.  It also helps that she is massively talented.  Sometimes I do find myself wondering why she isn’t massively more famous given a bunch of songs people have loved over the past couple of years basically are her fault.  Maybe that’s part of it, too.  Or maybe I have no clue and am babbling.  She is just amazingly interesting to me though and I can’t seem to stop thinking about her.  I hope no one minds especially cause she’s going to be on SNL this week so don’t be stunned if you see her again soon.  Today I want to fuck Charli XCX.

Here is Charli XCX for people because people need more Charli XCX.  I know this as medical fact cause I have posted her quite a few times now and everytime I do someone comments that they had never heard of her before.  So clearly you need more of her in your life because you didn’t even know she was in it.  You’re welcome by the way.  She played some Tumblr IRL thing yesterday and looked pretty damn good so that’s really the real reason she’s here.  I am pretty attracted to her.  Today I want to fuck Charli XCX
