I hope you guys like Nicki Minaj and Kelly Brook because apparently they are the only people I am ever going to post from now on.  I don’t think I have just alternated two people four days in a row before but… well, if anything it just proves how genuine the premise of this blog is.  It might not seem random but that’s just because human beings are really bad at seeing randomness. It’s just a very, very hard concept for us and when we come across true randomness we tend to see it as false randomness because we want an even distribution over a short period of time for random results.  An example being that if you flip a coin 30 times you ae actually mathematically extremely likely to land on heads 5 times in a row or tails 5 times in a row.  But if you do, most people will see that as a flaw in the coin and it being biased one way or another.  True randomness creates all sorts of clusters of things that we see as patterns rather than randomness because seeing patterns is a survival skill that has gotten us pretty far and as a result we way over do it as a species.  You might be wondering what this has to do with Nicki Minaj and the answer is probably nothing other than the fact that she’s a human and probably does it, too.  I just want to point it out, it’s an important thing to keep in mind because our desire to see patterns can hurt us and you should keep it in mind when making important decisions, financially, politically, about life, whatever.  I mean, it’s called the gamblers fallacy so definitely keep it in mind if you’re in Vegas.  You know, that’s the main point of this blog, to help you live your life.  Anyway, this blog is, of course, not entirely random, it has biases weighing it, like my personal taste, media coverage and so on.  But randomness does play a factor as well.  What I am saying is the fact that I chose Nicki Minaj again is proof that you can trust me.  If I was just trying to make this blog seem off the cuff but secretly was run by some sort of… evil corporation whose end goal I can’t fathom, well, then I wouldn’t have posted her.  But I did.  Because I have personal integrity.  Anyway, Nicki performed at the NBA awards last night and it doesn’t take very much to get me to post her.  Her performing and there being new pictures is more than enough because she is ridiculously hot.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

Here is Nicki Minaj because apparently Nicki Minaj hit some big career landmarks this week, including the most awarded female rapper ever and something about the Hot 100 that makes her the most successful female musician ever in that category.  She passed Aretha Franklin, that feels like a big deal when you throw in that name.  The basic point is not awards and sales though.  I am of the opinion that judging art based on such things is a fools errand.  Ranking art is for idiots.  Dictating what is better than another thing based on sales and awards is even dumber.  It is for people without the ability or desire to think for themselves and they fall back on maybe the simplest and least effective way of defining, discussing, and judging art.  But that wasn’t the point of her post about it or this one, the point is it’s a big deal for her and for me it goes back to the whole thing Taylor Swift tried to make about herself last year, Nicki Minaj is a hugely successful and popular musician.  So why is she treated as if she isn’t?  That wasn’t her point, that’s mine, that’s what lead me here.  Obviously I see it in my posts and so on but I would point out in general if more people are buying and listening to her songs than almost anyone else out there, why is she treated in general as a B or C list celebrity.  Now, this is all rhetorical, I think we know the answer and if you don’t think you know the answer or just disagree with what I am clearly implying the answer is, I ask you to try and come up with another reason.  And I am not angry or claiming you need to care more or god forbid there need to be more TMZ stories (we got enough about her this weekend thanks to her idiot exes).  I just think it is a thing that should be pointed out.  Again and again.  She doesn’t fit the mold they want and thus she isn’t treated like a top tier celebrity when it comes to music but… it certainly seems like a lot of people care.  Anyway, I enjoy her as a person and I think she’s attractive and I am glad for her success and that it seems to give her a sense of validation and today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

Cannes continues to give and give and give.  This time it is the famous Charity Gala with amfAR, which is always well populated because it’s a charity gala and is usually the big fashion event of Cannes.  It appears to be paying off again this year.  Who knows when we’ll finally get pictures of everyone or you know, more than three of some people, but the early returns are in and man, lots of people look really great.  I really feel lucky that Nicki Minaj was there.  I didn’t even know she was going to be at Cannes.  Anyway, she looks great, I am glad I took the million years to post today looking for decent pictures because it means I get to post Nicki.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

So here is Nicki Minaj for a bunch of reasons but really just Met Gala related reasons at the core.  There was a lot of TV last night but not a lot of events and I guess the Met Gala still stuck around in my head.  Nicki Minaj was almost posted yesterday for a few reasons.  One is just that I really like Nicki Minaj but more importantly was that she also did a pretty good job on the outfit front.  I think she only lost points because it felt very Nicki Minaj, which seems like a strange complaint given what I just said about liking her but it was… well, the same things that made it good made it come in in second place for me.  Basically it was adventurous and sort of took the theme of the night and married ti to her style.  But I guess in the end it looked too much like a lot of Nicki Minaj outfits, which I threw in some other recent ones and you can see thematic similarities.  Which is good, it feels like it is great to basically marry a classic look from her with like… I dunno Nicki Minaj mixed with the royal robes of the Queen of Hearts.  Which is good and should be praised but maybe it just didn’t wow me enough because it felt familiar.  Anyway, I was thinking about her still today and no reason not to run with that, cause she looked great.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

So I know there was stuff going on last night like country music awards and what not but there were also fashion awards and I am not really bothering to see who else shows up on red carpets, I am posting Nicki Minaj because Nicki Minaj was on a red carpet.  I know myself well enough at this point to know she’s going to show up.  It’s such a rare thrill to get pictures of her, which let’s be honest, is fucking stupid.  I mean, she is a pretty big star in the scene of music and yet getting pictures of her is like pulling teeth compared to some more obscure stars.  There are lots of factors but the big one is she’s black.  I follow a blog called Celebrities of color simply because seeing celebrities of color is so hard ot do (also, it got shut down at least once because someone complained it was racist because… well, if you’re surprised that that would happen you might also think it’s racist to have a blog dedicated to celebrities of color).  Usually I would try to be funnier and maybe a little less blunt but I didn’t sleep well and I am in a hurry.  I happen to find Nicki Minaj very attractive.  I also think she is quite intelligent and has interesting things to say.  I think it is no secret why she is one of the few people I post that gets complaints.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

So Nicki Minaj is in Paris for Fashion Week and thank god cause after New York they have all been a tad dull this time out.  I dunno why.  London passed with a whimper.  Milan as well.  Anyway, Nicki has been there and I am full willing to admit that thigh high mirrored boots or a chainmail dress with a white fur coat might not be to everyone’s taste but I love it.  It’s kind of nuts sure in that I can’t tell if she’s from space or a futuristic barbarian or what.  I mean, with that silver dress if I squint she’s either from Conan the Barbarian or Buck Rogers but you know what, both are fine.  It might have something to do with her new music video since the pictures she’s shared behind the scenes give me similar vibes at time.  Anyway, I am glad she was there because sure it was still like pulling teeth to actually find pictures of her there but at least this made it more like pulling a loose tooth.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

Nicki Minaj hosted her own New Years Eve party in Miami and there were like… two pictures and so I was waiting for more but they haven’t shown up.  And I am tired of waiting.  I can wish that there were more and that more people apparently wanted pictures of her but it seems like maybe I could wish bigger than that if I am blowing wishes, right?  Like, can you imagine if I made a wish it came true and I was like, “I wish I had more pictures of Nicki Minaj”.  It would be nice sure but it might tweak me a little bit that I could have wished for a pony instead and didn’t.  Anyway, I thought she looked good because I often do. And I actually like Nicki Minaj more than a pony.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

Boy, it’s like I’m ending the week by choosing the people I post that other people like the least.  I just need to figure out a third person that gets me annoyed anons (not even on this blog, on my other blog, that’s a lot of effort guys) when I post her.  Well, if I don’t, two days in a row is still good when it comes to annoying people.  Here is Nicki Minaj cause she was at a… fashion thing last night?  It wasn’t familiar to me, some sort of Gala or celebration.  I dunno, it was a long title.  I thought she looked great.  I like her a lot, it’s not particularly hard to get me to post her, pictures of her just have to exist.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

So there was a big streaming Tidal concert last night and Nicki Minaj looked fantastic but it also gives me a chance to talk about something that has been bothering me for… well, how long has Tidal been a thing?  That long at least. Actually, it started when Taylor Swift decided to take her music off of Spotify and point out what a hugely shitty deal Spotify was for the artists on Spotify.  Spotify makes Spotify a lot of money but somehow doesn’t make musicians a lot of money because of the terrible intricacies of ASCAP and label deals and basically things that were negotiated before streaming was a stuff.  It was important because honestly Taylor Swift was one of the few musicians who was actually big enough to take this stand, someone who both didn’t need Spotify and whose loss would be a big deal to them. So of course all my friends and their rebellious love of indie music and anti-establishment stuff crucified her for days.  Who the fuck does she think she is?  She is just doing it for attention. And yes, she was just doing it for attention.  That’s the point of a protest, to bring attention to an issue.  But it’s this thing, these people who I think are frankly kind of dumb in their rabid anti-corporate leanings are fully down with a corporation when they feel a girl had stepped out of line.  It was more important to them to shit on Taylor Swift because she played pop music than it was to do anything in line with what they claim to be their core beliefs.  Which brings us to Tidal.  Why the fuck does it seem like the entire world is cheering for Tidal to fail?  Just from a selfish perspective more competition is good for us as consumers.  We do not want one dominant service in any realm because it is bad for us.  But more so, after artists got raw deals, artists band together to create a service that gives artists a good deal and… people want it to fail and how date those uppity fuckers.  Who do they think they are?  And it’s this really gross human tendency where we want to smack people down every chance we get.  This strange thing where we need people to know their place and if they don’t we sure as fuck want to put them there.  And there are gross racial elements that have to be a part of this as well given who has started Tidal.  And you know, Nicki Minaj is one of the people who owns it, she’s one of the people I often feel faces hypocritical criticism.  I know, cause you guys send me nasty messages about her that no other posting gets.  And it boils down to her not really knowing her place.  You don’t like her attitude.  SO you know, bring it with those messages today but I can save you the effort by letting you know I don’t really care what you think.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

Where the hell are all the pictures from the VMAs?  I mean, it isn’t like there aren’t any but it sure feels sparse this year.  I have theories as to why and look, another Nicki Minaj post where I complain about how hard it is to get pictures of her and, you know, not white celebrities.  What a strange coincidence that is.  Anyway, I didn’t get to watch the VMAs last night because I don’t get MTV and that’s probably ok because I usually don’t really enjoy the VMAs that much, it more the fall out from whatever happens that is the entertaining part.  Except this time I haven’t heard about anything.  If I am just too old to even hear the controversy let me know but maybe MTV is getting old.  And has mellowed.  Anyway, anyone who knew me can’t be surprised by who I am posting because well.. I’m predictable.  I adore Nicki Minaj and happen to find her extremely attractive.  I also tend to really like her red carpet looks, they are often sexy, pretty, and distinctly her.  I am sure that means lots of people hate them.  I don’t care.  I liked the gown she wore (though I will admit, Kanye was probably best dressed).  The blue was very pretty, it was elegant and sexy.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.
