So the Barbershop 3 premier was last night and Nicki Minaj was there and holy crap is it hard to find pictures of her at things.  There are very few.  They were mostly not great.  You probably don’t want to hear my whine about that, so I will just say it is frustratingly hard to find pictures of her.  So here is the best I can find along with other pictures of her at things, some stolen right from her instagram because at least Nicki Minaj gets some Nicki Minaj pictures out there.  Anyway, I went all blonde in honor of her hair being blonde right now and I really appreciate her dedication to realism by adding the dark roots every time she pulls this look off.  That’s just great.  She is great and here she is so suck it haters, today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

God bless Nylon for continually giving me excellent photoshoots of celebrities I love who are often under photographed.  Here is Nicki Minaj because she’s going to be in next month’s Nylon (on sale now for complicated news stand reasons).  If Nicki Minaj wearing rhinestone stars and stripes boxing gloves doesn’t make you proud to be an American then I can only assume you’re name is Ivan Drago and you can get the fuck off of my blog right now.  I saw what you did to Apollo Creed you son of a bitch and I heard the press conference.  You’re going to get yours!  It won’t seem like you will but just you fucking wait until the 3rd act, oh man, you’re going to lose and Communism will fall!  I should have really saved this picture for the 4th of July just so I can post Nicki on the 4th again and get some racists who think they’re not racists to scoff at the idea of her representing America then watch them backpedal as they try to come up with reasons as to why she isn’t a real American other than just coming out and saying, “She’s not white”.  That said, I loved Creed and I am not knocking it but I would 100% watch a movie where Nicki Minaj fights Ivan Drago.  I might be the only one but go ahead and make that spin off.  Or just use it for a music video, it’s a thing I want to see the more I think about it.  Anyway, Nicki Minaj is awesome and gorgeous and since she is like the one person I can post and be sure to get some snide remarks about I am going to go ahead and tell you that you all can kiss my ass.  Every bit of it because she is great.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

I am posting pretty late for me today.  I got wrapped up in other things and by other things I mean playing in the snow and then walking to get a sandwich and soup and hot chocolate.  It is a winter wonderland out here and I love it.  The only negative is it is getting really windy and at one point it was blowing snow around so much I couldn’t see, everything was just white and for a minute I just stood around waiting for someone to announce the winners.  Often when I skip posting to go do something else like roll around with a dog in the snow by the time I get back to a computer I post someone other than I was originally planning.  That did not happen this time.  I woke up thinking about Nicki Minaj and I am still thinking about her.  Because Nicki Minaj is fucking hot.  I realize this is somehow, for reasons a cannot comprehend, a controversial statement.  That’s ok, there are people also don’t want to roll around in the snow playing with a dog.  Part of growing up is learned to accept some people are just terribly, horribly wrong.  This describes the people who give me sidelong looks when I mention Nicki Minaj is really hot.  And to be clear, these people can see.  I am not making fun of the blind.  I don’t get it.  She is fantastic.  So today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

Here is Nicki Minaj because I adore Nicki Minaj.  I realize she is for some reason divisive (for some reason.  It’s a mystery why an outspoken woman of color is divisive…) so I am not here to convince you, I am old enough that I have grown to accept some people are just wrong.  Some are wrong so often you’d think it was a bodily function.  I happen to like her a lot.  I also like poetry and I like Maya Angelou.  So when this video of Nicki Minaj reading a Maya Angelou poem was shown to me I enjoyed it greatly.  So I will ignore your hate and point out that Nicki Minaj is both talented and beautiful and I happen to be extremely attracted to her.  So today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

I wasn’t really that sold on Nicki Minaj’s costume.  Not because the fairy princess thing wasn’t nice, it was just that it struck me once I saw it it didn’t look that different from a lot of what she wears.  Like… had it not been Halloween and she had left the wand at home I would have just assumed it was clothing instead of a costume.  So she was in the running to be posted the past couple of days but htat is what kept me from posting her.  Thing is, I woke up thinking about her this morning.  And I am still thinking about her.  I don’t know if it’s the costume or just the fact that she is Nicki Minaj but either way she’s been on my mind.  So I am posting her.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

Nicki Minaj showed up suddenly on SNL last night and it was quite a pleasant surprise.  She also looked fantastic.  Of course, as always, to my consternation her instagram is like the only source of pictures of this but oh well, I am doing the best I can.  It does make me wonder when she’s going to host SNL.  I had that thought last time she was the musical guest, she showed up in some sketches, she always does, she did well and I think she has the chops.  It isn’t like other musicians haven’t hosted.  I would like to see it.  Anyway, here is Nicki Minaj because today I want to fuck Nicki MInaj.

So Nicki Minaj looked great at what was by all accounts a totally nuts Givenchy thing in Milan yesterday.  Just insane from what I have read.  And she looked awesome.  I saw the pictures right before bed last night and I knew there was a very good chance she was getting posted today.  When I got up I knew I was posting her.  So why am I posting at 1 PM?  It’s not cause I slept until now.  It’s because somehow, magically, pictures of people like Nicki Minaj are a fuck ton of work to find.  Like I can grab them from her Instagram but if I want actual high quality pictures?  Out of luck.  It’s one of those strange things where certain people are just a lot more work to find pictures of.  There is no possible cultural explanation for any of it.  It’s just coincidence, like when Nicki Minaj is one of the only people I ever post who actually gets hostility directed at me.  Coincidence.  Don’t read into it.  She looks awesome though and Nicki is so hot.  So today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

I am here to declare Nicki Minaj the winner of the VMAs last night.  Because she had the best dress.  I loved it.  She looked great.  I don’t typically take sides in celebrity fights or feuds or whatever because I largely think they are stupid and unimportant and it’s just a whole lot of dipshitery but what’s dumber than that is being particularly invested in them.  So I won’t say much about it here other than the fact that Nicki Minaj is right.  Like going back to twitter, Nicki Minaj is right.  And one thing I could do without in general is when someone points out oppression or inequities someone else pointing out that it isn’t polite to talk about that, or that they should go through the proper channels or whatever.  Less of that would be cool.  But that’s all I’ll say there.  Nicki is here because I find her ridiculously hot and she looked great last night and while I might want less of some things I want more of Nicki.  She doesn’t show up in nearly enough red carpet pictures.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

Dirt is Matter Out of Place.  This was a definition created by Mary Douglas and it basically claims that what we see as dirty is what does not belong.  We expound on the benefits of nature and being one with nature but nature is far dirtier than most people’s kitchen but no one tells you to get to the kitchen for some clean, fresh air. Clean is usually associated with positive thoughts and dirty negative.  Other than perverts there are very few people who thrill at being told something is dirty or filthy and even in their cases they wouldn’t brag about it to their moms.  And of course this means the opposite of dirty, if ti is things out of place, is things in their place.  Order is what we praise and order is what we crave.  It has been said most people are more interested in order than they are justice.  This gets back to my dirty perverts thing, we have an ingrained desire for repression because we are taught that people should repress their desires.  I am not just making this up on my own, I am basically paraphrasing Gilles Gelueze.  What all this has to do with Nicki Minaj is the minor twitter scuffle last week.  The problem with associating order with all the positive, cleanliness, godliness, purity and something being out of place with dirt, with evil, with debasement is that it enforces and order that is not always just and punishes those who buck against it.  Nicki seems to have come out on top but I have certainly heard murmurings about her whining or sour grapes or the usual, “Ugg, I am so tired of hearing about it”.  It all boils down to people don’t like her not staying in her place.  Even those who might see our social structure as injust still crave the same order as everyone else and become annoyed for reasons they don’t understand when someone bucks the order.  Those that benefit from order are often the most annoyed because they see it as an attack on them.  They are staying in their place and now you are saying you want to be in that place?  Extrapolate from that what you will.  I won’t go further because I assume I have bored everyone and I am not particularly qualified to discuss race relations and I tend to ramble.  I am glad Nicki Minaj’s point seems to have been heard if not entirely embraced.  It is why I am posting her.  Kind of.  I mean it happened a week ago but I was thinking about it.  I like her.  So she is here.  Today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.

Here is Nicki Minaj because I happen to think Nicki Minaj is really hot.  In recent months I seem to have finally picked up some followers who agree.  This is nice.  I don’t really need validation because I am confident that I am right about who I am attracted to but it is better than the days people felt the need to message me to tell me she is not attractive. I have no particular reason for her to be here but welcome to the summer, there isn’t really a ton going on.  Some weeks people are competing to get posted, other weeks, like the last couple, thee isn’t that much happening and my picks feel… almost purer.  Like it is 100% just where my brain wanders.  I might be overthinking all of this.  Whatever the reason, today I want to fuck Nicki Minaj.
