Jessica Chastain is here because my subconscious demanded it. I had some strange dream, not sexual just odd, where I was in a high school cafeteria getting free food (I don’t think I was in high school there, just there for the food) and Jessica Chastain just started performing in the middle of the cafeteria with some other people.  I don’t know what it was or something but it was very good in my opinion at the time.  All very odd but clearly my brain is obsessed with Jessica Chastain.  And it is currently Jessica Chastain season so I keep seeing her all over the internet.  These are good things because she is absolutely fantastic.  And so here she is today because today I want to fuck Jessica Chastain.

I watched John Wick last night and it was pretty solid.  I don’t think I quite liked it as much as everyone else but my friends kind of over hyped it going in.  They do that sometimes so something that is a solid action flick is never going to live up to expectations.  But I liked it.  Anyway, there is a point where one of the many villains is introduced and like, you don’t know she’s a villain necessarily but she’s got black hair, she’s wearing black leather, and she’s hot and dangerous looking and I think we all know the language of cinema well enough now to know that anyone in black leather who looks mean and isn’t the main character is probably evil.  She was not going off to start a puppy petting club.  Anyway, I saw her and immediately was like, whoa, she’s hot.  But you don’t get the best look then later she shows up and again I was like, “Whoa, she’s hot… wait, is that Adrianne Palicki?"  Yes, yes it was.  Last time I posted her I posted about how great it was that she was a superhero and how I loved that.  I turns out evil assassin is also a strong look for her.  Honestly, being a badass was a good look for her.  She wasn’t really doing any ass kicking in Friday Night Lights but Tyra became way more attractive as she transitioned from Football player’s girlfriend with no ambition to the girl working and fighting to make a better life for herself and get into college.  So like, no one is going to get in my way, I am going to get shit done Adrianna Palicki is a hot Adrianne Palicki.  It’s one i endorse.  So here are pictures of her being a badass because it’s hot.  Today I want to fuck Adrianna Palicki.

So I guess Kelly Brook has a TV show coming out soon and I am not sure what to think about that because I haven’t looked into it that much.  I have enjoyed Elisha Cuthbert’s comedy stylings before on a sitcom so that’s a good sign but I have been warned in no uncertain terms to avoid Kelly Brook’s acting before by friends.  I have really only seen her in a few things and those are things where her role was to be the “hot girl” and I thought she pulled those off.  I think she might be playing the hot girl on the show so I think she has that kind of range.  Who knows.  She has looked lovely at the press tour stuff though.  That’s not why she’s here, she’s here because I had a dream about her.  Like I was at a friend’s part and sitting on the couch and she was there to and was really nice and kept coming over and talking and I couldn’t quit looking at her breasts and I was really nervous she’d notice and think I was super creepy because I just could not looking (Pro tip: For anyone who doesn’t know this, girls always know when you keep looking at their breasts.  Always.  You are never as subtle as they think and said breasts are attached to them so they have had lots of practice with people looking at them.  Just for those of you who didn’t know this fact of nature).  I don’t know what happened then, basically that’s all I remember of the dream and like… how the sweater she was wearing fit.  So you know… if I am entirely honest Kelly Brook is here cause of her boobs today.  This isn’t the first time her boobs have put her here.  It happens.  Today I want to fuck Kelly Brook.

Here is some Anna Kendrick because I love me some Anna Kendrick.  I don’t have any special reason today.  I haven’t like watched her in something recently, or seen any particularly hilarious tweets or interviews or anything.  She’s just great and that’s enough for me.  I woke up thinking about her and all these hours later I still am, I keep thinking, “Man, Anna Kendrick is great”.  So she’s here today because of that.  Because of the greatness.  Today I want to fuck Anna Kendrick.

Here is some Ksenia Solo cause man she’s pretty.  I don’t really have anything else, I have posted her a lot recently because I have been pushing through Lost Girl when I can’t sleep and I couldn’t sleep last night.  So I got a lot of Ksenia Solo.  And she is pretty.  And funny.  And charming.  We’ve been through it all before.  Today I want to fuck Ksenia Solo.

To me the best heroes have something special about them that is hard to quite put your fingers on.  It’s not a specific trait or power, it’s just something aspirational, something that encourages you to be better.  For me maybe the best example of this is Captain America, when Captain America is done right he reminds you of what we and this country could be.  His existence helps work to bring out the best in us.  Superman falls under this category for me too.  Of course, when they’re done right and it’s hard.  I think it’s part of why I have been so taken with Agent Carter so far as a show and it’s because there is something about Peggy Carter that fits the same bill.  Not that I am actively seeking to be a better secret agent or anything but something about her is just… special.  She is someone to look up to, to want to be more like so far.  It’s a difficult trick to pull off and I think Hayley Atwell has to get most of the credit because she is just so good in the role.  There is just something about her that makes the character likeable and laudable and just… I dunno, she’s just special.  It’s damn impressive to take a character who has existed for 40 years but has hardly ever been fleshed out and in such a short stretch make her so fascinating and deep.  I am impressed.  I also get the impression that she is going to be showing up here a lot while Agent Carter is on the air.  I am fine with that, I just wish we were getting even more episodes than we are.  She and the show are wonderful and today I want to fuck Hayley Atwell.

Here is Charli XCX because… I haven’t posted her yet this year?  That seems like a good enough reason.  Because I happen to think she is quite attractive and even more compelling to contemplate.  I can’t fully articulate it but she has something.  And yeah, part of it is her voice and her ability to write a really good hook but there is something else.  That just happens sometimes, I latch onto someone and am just more into them than people around me seem to be.  I don’t have a solid reason why other than “because”.  Charli XCX is one of those, I just like her.  I also happen to be extremely attracted to her.  They kind of feed off of one another.  So she’s here for the first time in 2015 because today I want to fuck Charli XCX.

So I have decided Jessica Chastain won the Golden Globes last night.  I am sure everyone was waiting to hear what I thought.  Now, I know some might say she has an unfair advantage because I am biased towards her but given that my bias is based on her being gorgeous and talented I feel like that’s a big part of who won.  That and the dress.  I liked her dress.  And her hair.  She does this kind of old Hollywood look so well.  She looks glamorous.  Anyway, I can assure you she won because there is only one vote, so it was pretty easy to count the votes and see who won.  It was her.  She won 1-0. Anyway, it is awards season which means it’s Jessica Chastain season as well and I am pretty excited about that.  I plan to get off my ass soon and start main lining nominated films, so I am sure she’ll show up again.  Cause guys, she is so damn talented.  So good.  Anyway, this is about the fact that she just looked amazing last night and so today I want to fuck Jessica Chastain.

A bit of cold comfort was I saw Selfie listed on some publications most upsetting cancellations of 2014, which doesn’t bring it back or anything but does give me the smug self satisfaction of being right, and thus people who didn’t watch it are wrong.  So I have that going for me at least.  I watched the final two episodes this morning and it is a shame it is gone because the show was entertaining.  Karen Gillan was the biggest part of that because she is so damn compelling on screen.  I will miss her.  Here is hoping there is something else major for her soon.  I guess that’s all I really have to say other than today I want to fuck Karen Gillan.

Ok, first things first everyone should welcome celeb-crush-otd to tumblr by following the blog.  I have long said that if you start a blog like this, you know, daily posting of a celebrity who you like for whatever reason I will promote you (fun fact, after about a month of this blog I did find myself wishing I had gone with Who I am Crushing on Today or something like that because you know, I think the fuck frightens people).  So welcome Celeb Crush of the day to the mix.  Now we really need some girls to step up and start ones about guys or whatever they might like.  There was one for a week.  Anyway, I am promoing this new blog even though it wasn’t asked for because I am always excited to see new ones.  That has very little to do with Mary Elizabeth Winstead though other than she is mega crush worthy.  You may or may not know this about me but I kind of rank her among my top celebrity crushes over time and certainly my favorite at her level of fame which is probably best described as “not very famous but should be way more famous because she’s really good”.  I like her enough that I even sit through the rising tide of people trying to convince me the Black Christmas remake is actually a misjudged classic.  I mean, they don’t convince me because sorry guys, that movie was terrible.  How do you get a collection of likable actresses and make me despise them all?  It was garbage then and it’s garbage now.  Though yes, I’ll admit, the color pallet is refreshing for a horror movie.  Anyway, she is showing up now for awards season get togethers and TCAs and stuff and I am glad because she is gorgeous.  And she’ll be on a TV show again and I am hoping it launches her to the mega stardom she deserves.  Also you know, more of her is nice because she is beautiful.  So beautiful.  Today I want to fuck Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
