Sometimes a celebrity I pick ends up representing an experience as much as anything else.  Or maybe I am phrasing that wrong and it’s not giving the individual enough credit but what I am saying is that I will watch a movie or something and really like the movie and that makes someone in it far more attractive to me.  I just watched Sleepwalk with Me, which I knew I was predisposed to like anyway but i really enjoyed it.  It is not the first time I have seen Lauren Ambrose but I didn’t know that until I looked her up on IMDB. She was in the standard role for girls in a movie about a guys with an existentialist crisis, the long suffering girlfriend.  That said, she did it well and avoided the pitfalls that role can bring (the nag, the killjoy, the whatever unfun women are harpies thing it can be).  Instead she was a human being, as was everyone else, and she just seemed decent and good but sometimes people should not be together.  Anyway, I enjoyed the movie, I enjoyed her, and she’s really pretty.  So today I want to fuck Lauren Ambrose.

Amy Adams might have had my favorite dress at the Oscars and yes, I have opinions about dresses at the Oscars.  Anyway, it made me wonder why she wasn’t here more and I didn’t really have a great answer because she is pretty great, I am definitely a fan of her and her work and I find she is always pretty.  I pretty much assume it is some sort of Madonna Whore thing because that isn’t just for Catholic boys, I think we all have it to a degree, it’s kind of beaten into us.  She’s so pretty and I hold her in such high regard it almost feels wrong to have thoughts that are too lascivious about her.  Which is stupid because A) she isn’t going to know what I am thinking so I’m not protecting her and B) It’s kind of sexist and insulting to separate women in such a way, especially in our mind.  But it’s one of those things you can’t control, we’ve all be conditioned with various societal pressures but man, that is so not what this blog is about, right?  It’s about the fact that she is very pretty, she has great hair, pretty eyes, and has a wonderful mix of sweetness and kindness backed with steely resolve that makes her such a delight on screen.  Basically, what I am saying is today I want to fuck Amy Adams.

So the Oscars are tonight and I am looking forward to it.  I have been told the Oscars is the Superbowl for women but I don’t know about that.  I am pretty sure the Superbowl is the Superbowl for everyone and the Oscars are just the Oscars.  Still, there is something for almost everyone.  Lots of people like watching celebrities, there are the dresses, there is some sort of spectacle, people have rooting interests and so on.  I find awards shows are perfect background noise, you don’t have to pay that much attention to know what’s going on but it is nice to have and look over to.  As someone who runs this here blog there is the added advantage of a ton of great pictures coming in the next couple days.  I won’t lie, red carpet fashion can be pretty great to look at sometimes.  And the after parties.  But the real thing I like is when someone wins and it is clearly the greatest thing that happens to them.  I mean, this isn’t every winner, some people are still too cool for school but someone will be in genuine tears, or will be so happy they don’t even entirely make sense. That is fucking magic.  I mean I know it’s masturbatory self congratulation but to see true unbridled happiness from someone who has worked hard?  That’s always awesome.  Anyway, that’s why Jessica Chastain is here.  She probably is not going to win, that’s not how these things work, she hasn’t paid her dues (which is a shame, she might be getting to old to win, no lie the average age of female winners is, no lie, more than 8 years younger than the average age of Male winners and the most common age for a woman to win at is 29).  But I like her, and when I thought about the Oscars I thought about her, because I think she is very talented and I think she is very pretty.  I mean, there are lots of pretty nominees, many who have appeared here and who I won’t at all be upset if they win but my thoughts are with Jessica Chastain.  Today I want to fuck Jessica Chastain.

I put Emma Stone in basically the same category as Sarah Michelle Gellar, which should make sense to no one except me.  Which is fine, since I am the one grouping them as such.  But they are similar to me in that I get they are very pretty, I get that many people find them incredibly hot.   I think they are pretty.  Yet watching SMG all those years on Buffy giving interviews or whatever I never wanted to make out with her, I kind of wanted to hang out with her, she seemed really cool, like she’d be fun to be friends with.  Emma Stone is the same way.  I mean, I am not blind, she is really pretty and I know people who really like her but I am always like, she’d be fun to hang out with.  Which is strange, I don’t know what it is and it means I am surprised she is here in this blog because what am I going to say?  Man, I want to friend her so hard!  I mean just friend her all night.  I’d like to just go meet her in a bar and then listen to how her day was and then we could totally play darts!  Or… whatever, I got lost.  Anyway, she is here because she IS pretty and she IS attractive and well, I’m not blind.  So today something slipped through and it’s just a little different, this once at least I can say today I want to fuck Emma Stone.

Man, DVRs have killed the watercooler.  I never watch stuff when it airs anymore so I can’t sit around and talk about how cute Felicia Day was in Supernatural now until later.  Thank god the internet has taken navel gazing to a new level and I can sit around and talk to no one about how cute she was and then hope people read it (They don’t, they just look at the pictures).  Anyway, I like Felicia Day, others like her more.  We’ve been down this road, nerds fucking love her because she is awesome to nerds and makes lots of nerd consumable entertainment.  These are all good things.  Today I want to fuck Felicia Day.

I saw Mama last night and seriously, Jessica Chastain may be some sort of changeling or something.  The movie was pretty good but she was really good.  She has pretty much exploded out of nowhere into acting prominence in the past couple of years and I have seen I think… 4 movies with her in the past couple years.  She is like a professional chameleon, she is just radically different in every role.  I’m not talking about how she looks, though there are some wild changes there as well, but the way she acts, the characters she plays, just light years apart.  If I hadn’t gone into the movie yesterday knowing the bass player was also the blonde in the Help and was also the woman in Zero Dark Thirty I would never, ever have figured it out.  I am convinced someone could watch those three movies back to back and not realize the same actress is in all three of them.  So I am pretty blown away because she is good and she is just loaded with talent.  Also, she’s pretty attractive.  I guess it took me a while to get to that but I can’t help it, she just has serious chops and that in and of itself is pretty attractive.  An artist good at her craft is an attractive thing.  Anyway, I am impressed by her and you shouldn’t be surprised if she shows up again in the future.  Maybe.  I can only really speak for today and today I want to fuck Jessica Chastain.

So Jessica Chastain is pretty new in terms of having celebrity.  It’s interesting because she’s in her 30’s and the sad fact is to a lot of Hollywood that’s old.  But she had her breakout year recently and has been nominated for a bunch of awards for what feels like 500 movie roles in the past couple of years.  She is pretty but I think the reason she’s really here is because I enjoy her work.  I can’t put my finger on it but something about when she’s on screen I like.  This is all really vague I know but I can’t help it, sometimes I just get vague feelings I can only sum up by saying today I want to fuck Jessica Chastain.

I think I have seen Bryce Dallas Howard in a bunch of things but as I think about it the only things I can remember her in are The Help and 50/50, in both of which she was a huge bitch.  And not the good kind of bitch but the kind where you kind of want to punch her in the face she is so casually and carelessly evil.  I am not sure what it says about me exactly that those roles are my memory of her and yet when I think of her I go, “She’s pretty hot, I’d fuck her”.  Of course, I am imagining no one ever thought they’d say that about a relative of Ron Howard either but here we are.  Well, I wish everyone a good new year, I guess it’s appropriate I ring it in with a girl I have never picked before.  Here is to new things and new beginnings and here’s to saying today I want to fuck Bryce Dallas Howard.

So I have gone on at length (and on and on and on) about why certain people pop up here or why causes me to think about them and so on.  In some ways it’s a self perpetuating cycle.  See, I have my desktop constantly rotating, two times a day from a folder of about 500 wallpapers of various interests.  That’s enough that I see things sometimes I hadn’t seen or thought about in a while but by it’s very nature any girl in there is obviously a girl I cared enough about to place in a special folder.  And then she pops up, I remember all over again why I liked that picture so much, why I liked that girl so much and then bam, here were.  Which is how Christina Hendricks showed up, that first picture is my desktop.  And it was a reminder, oh yeah, she can be really hot.  Is really hot.  I really thought the next appearance she made would have been when Mad Men came back again but here we are, here she is.  And this is just one of the many reasons this blog runs the danger of repeating itself, self selection bias.  Biased or not, today I want to fuck Christina Hendricks.

Isla Fisher is back again.  I saw Bachelorette and it was… well here’s the notable thing to me and how it applies here, Isla Fischer took was really was a pretty one note character and squeezed a lot more out of it.  It could have been thankless but her performance elevated it.  I have noticed over the years she is a pretty talented comedic actress, something that can be overlooked compared to dramatic chops from people (Like when Bridesmaids lost at the Oscars, a dramatic poop will always win out over a comedic poop scene). But she has that talent and the really quality comedic actors help to make their characters feel real even when they are, for example, too stupid to be able to function in reality.  She added depth and even a sense of sadness to someone who is beyond incapable and gets by on looks that are fading sooner than later.  So that’s a big part of why she’s here, a performance I note is always nice and talent is so sexy.  On top of that she is gorgeous.  I guess that was the other key to the role.  Gorgeous and talented, today I want to fuck Isla Fisher.
