Here is Fearne Cotton cause of blonde Britishness probably. Or more accurately and less dismissively because I don’t post her very often and don’t think about her very often but every now and then when I do I am like, oh yeah, she’s really pretty hot. It’s in a certain way. She has a vibe about her that makes her unique. I don’t know how to articulate it beyond that other than she just feels a little different. I am also old enough and from far enough away that Top of the Pops holds this weird mythic musical status of a big deal thing that we don’t know that much about really. And so that give her cool. At least with me. It was also easy to find pictures of her I liked, which is a bonus as well. Today I want to fuck Fearne Cotton.

About a week ago Sonakshi Sinha wore a gown to the Indian GQ Men of the Year awards that I was a big fan. It was shiny. I really liked the cut and I shared it with my dear friend @thunderstormofoblivion who told me, “Of course you love it, she looks like a fucking disco ball”. Which in fairness she did. I get that that is a thing for me. A woman dressed like a disco ball. The point of this story is I know I posted Taylor Swift on Monday and here I am posting her again because she is really putting a lot of effort into making me happy this week. It’s greatly appreciated. Kind of out of the blue but I won’t complain. She looked great at the AMAs last night. Even the boots matched. I am down and I am still thankful for her Sunday post. And legit, fuck everyone criticizing it, left and right. I am reading your articles, you guys are having to bend over backwards to be offended. Bite me. Back to her dress. Last night at 7:30 I knew who I was going to post today because Taylor Swift did something that moved me. I am an American. I am quite proud of that fact. I am a product and citizen of the great experiment formed by a group of people driven by humanist enlightenment thought and the end point of a legacy of ever expanding liberalism. The ideas that all men are created equal. There have been missteps along the way but I genuinely believe the world is a better place because of it. Much of Western history since has been driven by Enlightenment ideals and the idea of man’s right to self determination. That has been under attack in recent years in a way I thought I would never see again. I remember the fall of communism and the collective sigh of relief. Authoritarianism wasn’t extinguished completely but we were moving that way. Things have gotten ugly. Not just in my country but around the world as we have seen people seem to genuinely consider that perhaps Democracy is not that important. It is. My country has done things I am not proud of. Things that frighten me. I staunchly believe it is not who we are. I believe most Americans are good people. But I believe our talk is dominated by the insincere. People who are maliciously willing to tear us and our values apart to enrich themselves. War is good for the wallet, especially when it’s ideological. I have long been critical of Taylor Swift for saying nothing. I know many will congratulate her for taking a stance they agree with. I agree with everything she said. I am impressed she took a stance period. I think it is important to speak your convictions to drown out those who don’t even believe most of what they say but know someone will. I am certain there is already a gnashing of the teeth out there because it’s the world we live in now. But it doesn’t have to be and Taylor’s post was excellent at demonstrating this. She might have given the most apolitical political endorsement I have ever seen. Parties were not mentioned. Simply the issues she finds important and why she finds them important. Statements, that at least in public, everyone endorses. Respect and dignity for our fellow man, no matter what he looks like, what gender her or she is, what sexual orientation. That no one should suffer because they were not born into a preapproved group. Then she asked people to educate themselves and vote their convictions. This is all I want and all I can ask of anyone. I know some people only want to see their side endorsed or their side encouraged. I don’t mind if someone disagrees. Someone who genuinely wants what is right and is voting by their convictions can be reasonable. They can be talked to. They can be convinced. I grew up in a world where gay marriage wasn’t even a term. If it had been the 13 year old me probably would have been against it. Certainly my parents would have been. They are not anymore. Because for all their flaws as people they are not evil. Discussion, enlightenment. It has changed views. It’s a long game but voting matters. Learning who you are voting for and what matters is important. I was thrilled to see Taylor Swift had taken a stance because it is important that she spoke to her convictions whatever they are. I am thrilled at the way she asked people to vote, the way she encouraged them to think. It gives me hope and it’s a wonderful thing. It has been said that the present state of this country does not represent who we really are as a people. It is time we prove it. Today I want to fuck Taylor Swift.

I am so happy the Good Place is back because what a fantastic show it is. I just love every second of it. It was on again last night and I am posting Kristen Bell because at this point it should be well known that I adore Kristen Bell like no other. I feel like if you watch the show or really anything she’s been in you’d understand why I have felt this way for almost 15 years. She’s just so good at what she does. Today I want to fuck Kristen Bell.

Last night was weird. I was listening to Bell Bottom Blues, which I think is far and away the saddest song even tangentially related to Bell Bottoms but that’s just my opinion, you are welcome to your own. It’s America, it’s your right to be wrong. Anyway, I was in kind of a dour place because sometimes that happens. You get home from work to an empty house and a crushing loneliness comes down upon you. It’s hard. Life is hard some guys. But then I remembered the time I saw Odin in the grocery store. I mean, I don’t have confirmation it was Odin. I didn’t talk to him. He’s Odin, it felt presumptuous and what do you even talk to a Norse God about? Nice Eye patch? Where are your ravens? Anyway, I thought about it and how it was remarkable that he’d be at my Kroger. I mean, a guys got to eat and I assume Gods do as well. If he wasn’t hungry then Cronus was a real dick if you ask me. Or maybe that was the whole point. I dunno, it’s been a while since I read about the Titans. Anyway, my point is that life can be a drag sometimes but it also can be full of some pretty great stuff if you give it a chance. Like pretty girls. Or new episodes of Doctor Who. Which I am very much looking forward to. So here we are. Today I want to fuck Jodie Whittaker.

There was a celebration for the 30th anniversary of This Morning and of course Holly Willoughby was there so I am posting her. Because I am quite the fan of blonde British women. She looked good. I like her. That simple. Today I want to fuck Holly Willoughby.

Well It’s October. Or Spooktober. Or Rocktober. Whatever your radio station/local UHF channel has brnaded it. It’s a very flexible month. Anyway, for me that means all Halloween all the time so here is Darshelle Stevens cause costumes. More importantly, mostly Scooby Doo related costumes. I snuck in one that’s not. Again, this is like Where’s Waldo, can my most eagle eyed readers figure out which one isn’t? It’s a mystery. Just like on Scooby Doo. Which I love. And she looks good here. I am sometimes fascinated with how the internet will respond to things, just something will take it by storm. Memes. Viral videos. Whatever. I don’t know why I was being obtuse about what it was. It feels like at some point it would be a fascinating field of academic study and how it mimics in person interactions and how it differs. At what point is the snake eating it’s own tail? Like, are people responding to the original idea or are they responding to the fact that so many people are responding to it. I guess I am interested in anything that is self catalyzing. Which is why Jessica Nigri is here because like the rest of the world she dressed as Bowsette. For those not in the know this is a thing that suddenly sprung forth from minds all around the world because Nintendo can cause existential crises at a whim. In this case they introduced a crown that when a normal Toadette put it on she magically looked a whole lot like Peach. This brought the very nature of reality, rule, and identity into question in the Mario Universe, which you’d think is a so what but it turns out to be rather unsettling as people question the nature of who Peach is and thus who they are. Identity is fluid in reality but it often is uncomfortable to confront that. Anyway, a few days into that revelation and suddenly half the world said, “So, like, what if Bowser put on the crown. Does he get hot all of a sudden?” I have to admit, it’s not a thing I ever would have thought of. I know gender bent stuff is popular on the internet but I have never found myself wondering along those lines and this is radically different anyway. I also have never wondered what if Boswer was hot just because, in general, and I am quoting a 7 year old here, Bowser is kind of a jerk. Boobs or not boobs, he’s not really my type. But I do love that in the course of a single week we have gone from a world where Bowser is Half Turtle Dragon Half asshole to… well, Bowsette. It’s just fascinating to see everyone embrace it and extra interesting is that like 50 cosplayers were able to throw together said cosplay in what seems like days. My dear friend Katherine pointed out, “So did they all just have spiked collars lying around?” TO which the answer is probably or it turns out that spiked collars are a lot easier to find at Walmart than I ever realized. In fairness, I have never looked. Spiked Collars and video game bad guys as hot girls are two big blind spots. Sure, I sit around and think deep thoughts a lot about the nature of reality but somehow those two have never come up. Anyway, Jessica Nigri is a cosplayer and is nothing if not able to get in on trends so she also cosplayed as Bowsette. Which is why she is here cause she looked good but also because it’s just such a fascinating phenomena to me. I had to bring it up. Today I want to fuck Jessica Nigri.

My beloved Kristen Bell was on WTF last week but I listened to it last night AND the Good Place is back. What an amazing Thursday. It’s be a better combination than a Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. And that’s so amazing the I am not just referencing the show but also a classic song. Anyway, she is endlessly delightful and has an impressive ability to be a bundle of joy as a human being and play just a delightful scumbag on TV. What a talent. What a human being. I used to say one day I was going to have her babies but I am getting older and the window on my having other people’s babies is just narrowing rapidly, so I will just say I think she’s great. Today I want to fuck Kristen Bell.

Here is Alice Eve who I know I have considered posting before but somehow she’s been waiting 6 and a half years to show up. I guess that happens. I actually guess I haven’t seen that many Alice Eve things but I have pictures of her because I first noticed her in uh… boy, I don’t know what. I feel like my brain is making up this movie but there was like a Robert Downey Jr. movie where he fought crime as Edgar Allen Poe? That seems ridiculous. That can’t be real so I assume I am combining Sherlock Holmes with a fever dream I had. Not that Hollywood wouldn’t make an Edgar Allen Poe as a steampunk superhero, that’s exactly the kind of misguided bullshit they pulled constantly a decade ago. I just can’t imagine in a post Iron Man world Robert Downey Jr. made two bad Victorian era sorta Superhero movies. It doesn’t seem possible. I could look it up but now that I’ve gone down this rabbi thole that feels like giving up. Besides, reality will be much more disappointing than how hot I remember Alice Eve being in this movie that might not have existed (you may not know but I really enjoy period costumes). My point is, that’s when I noticed her. Here we are though, like a decade later and I just started Iron Fist season 2. She’s Typhoid Mary in it! Boy, that’s exciting for lots of treasons including the fact that Typhoid Mary is definitely a mutant in the comics so I am curious how they slipped that past Fox. Anyway, Typhoid Mary has been a character that is all over the map in terms of quality but I can remember a few really good stories and I love my obscure Marvel characters. You know, like Misty Knight and Colleen Wing used to be. I also like Alice Eve’s work so far. She seems TV crazy and I wouldn’t be stunned if people criticize that but that’s really pretty dead on the comic version, who is very over the top sort of crazy. And hey, why not take this chance to make up for a movie that almost definitely half real. Today I want to fuck Alice Eve.
