One of the great truths of any art is that it’s out of your control the minute it enters the public. You can’t control how people respond to it or how the interpret it. Part of this is what makes art great but it can also be frustrating certainly. You can’t control how people react but also how they react doesn’t change your message. This might be most profound in music where you sometimes wonder if anyone listens to a single lyric being said because it doesn’t seem to jibe with what they are doing. Of course, bands have written songs about it, I remember a guy in high school who used to sing In Bloom and never understood the irony that the song was 100% about him. It happens. When you mix in women and sexuality it’s going to happen even more. Which, I feel like if you are a Tove Lo fan you can’t be stunned that long intro was caused because I am posting her but I know the messages and reblogs I will get. And let’s be honest, no one is every asking for it except in this case I am asking for it. I know what I named my blog. I wonder what goes through people’s minds sometimes when they tell me some fucked up shit and have never said a word to me before but… well, if they were good in social situations they probably wouldn’t need to talk to me anyway right? I mean, look at the kind of blog I run, friendship with me is clearly for people who have run out of options. Anyway, Tove Lo’s sexuality is hers and hers to do with as she wishes but people will misinterpret it and use it fro their own purposes and some people will be offended and some will not. I happen to like her and think she gives people a lot to think about. Me at least. She’s doing the whole Jingle Ball circuit though and I thought she has looked nice, especially in my old home town. That outfit got a big thumbs up. So I appreciate that. Anyway, so she’s here. Today I want to fuck Tove Lo.
